Sin isn’t far off. Scripture says it’s crouching at the door (Genesis 4:7), ready to take control. But God calls us to rule over it, not just manage it.

In this message, Pastor Patrick challenges us to take sin seriously and deal with it decisively. When Jesus says to “pluck out your eye” (Matthew 5:28–30), He’s showing us the urgency of removing anything that leads us into compromise. Because what we allow privately will eventually show up publicly.

Sin will always take you further than you planned to go and cost you more than you wanted to pay. But through Christ, you have the authority to master it.

Reflect:
• Where am I minimizing sin?
• What pattern keeps pulling me back?
• What do I need to remove, not just manage?

Don’t just manage sin. Master it.
