I am please to announce our new Director of Religious Education--Emily Scheper.

In Emily's own words:

I have been a member of the diocese my entire life, with the exception of my time at WKU where I was involved with the Catholic Campus Center and attended my first World Youth Day in Brazil. When I started teaching 1st grade at St. Agnes, Religion instruction rooted a special place in my heart. I became involved in the parish CCD program so I could teach Religion even more. I wanted to teach Religion all day so I became the Junior High Religion teacher at St. Henry where I have been for the past 6 years. My favorite thing is preparing the 8th grade students to receive Confirmation. It is so fun to answer questions from students and inspire the development of their own relationship with God. In the meantime I enjoy traveling to see famous churches around the world! I attended my second World Youth Day in Portugal in 2023. I was in Spain in 2024 visiting friends who joined a religious order there. I really enjoy inspiring the faithful of all ages to grow in passion for the beauty of the Catholic Church! I look forward to seeing you around the beautiful campus of St. Mary!

We have our last were class tonight at the school. It has been a great year!

Next week on Wednesday the 29th we will have our closing mass at the church!

For mass next week, students can be dropped off and picked up at the church
