To My Uwharrie Church Family… THANK YOU!
I just want to take a moment to say how incredibly grateful I am for all the cards, gifts, kind words, and love you showed me during Pastor Appreciation. You truly made me feel loved and appreciated, and I don’t take any of it for granted.
But I have to tell you, the gift that touched my heart the most was the “YES” box.
Reading through all the ways God has worked in your lives through the ministry He has entrusted to me was overwhelming. Every story, every answered prayer, every changed life, and every moment when someone said “yes” to what God was doing reminded me WHY I do what I do.
And here’s what I hope you know: Those aren’t MY victories. They’re GOD’S victories! I’m just incredibly thankful that He has allowed me to have a small part in them.
And I can’t talk about those “YES” moments without mentioning Kelly, Allie, and Erin. They have been such a huge part of this journey and so many of those moments. They’ve loved, served, sacrificed, encouraged, and walked alongside me through it all. So much of what God has allowed me to do in ministry has been possible because of their love and support. Those “YES” moments belong to them, too.
One of the greatest privileges of my life is getting to be your pastor. Not because ministry is always easy, but because I get a front-row seat to watch God change lives, restore hope, strengthen families, and do things that only HE can do.
And the truth is, you’ve been just as much a blessing to me and my family as you say we’ve been to you.
Thank you for loving us, praying for us, encouraging us, and allowing us to be part of your lives.
I love my Uwharrie family, and I can’t wait to see all the “YES” moments God still has ahead of us!
Love Him. Love Them. Tell Them Why.
And let’s keep saying YES to whatever God calls us to do! ❤️
