Today, we celebrate Father’s Day, recognizing the value that godly fathers everywhere bring to the home, church, and community. We appreciate you and thank you for being the men that you are for the value that you bring through the loving service you give in the name of Jesus.

Our prayer is that you come to know the love of the risen and coming-again Christ of Nazareth, receiving and worshiping him as your Savior and Lord, and that you may experience the peace of the abundant life that is found only in the kingdom of God. Jesus came into this world that you might have life and have it more abundantly through him. May you know him as the God who remembers you and extends mercy to all who seek him, and may you receive strength for living through his grace. May God likewise bless you to be an agent of divine peace wherever you go.

Stay safe. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

Today, we will celebrate Holy Communion, remembering the sacrificial gift of Jesus to the world that we might be saved. Today is also Connectional Stewardess Day in the CME Church. We thank God for the people who perform this office in our church, serving the tables of the Lord, the ministry, and the poor. May God give you strength and wisdom.

Today’s message is titled, “Crumbs,” and is based in Matthew 15:27.

I know you have been watching for it, and I deeply apologize in the name of the publication that your issue has not arrived in a timely manner. This is due to circumstances beyond my control as EDITOR of the publication.

However, because of the nature of the content of this issue, I am taking it upon myself to make this offer to you on behalf of the publication.

Today is Trinity Sunday in the season of Pentecost. Today, we are reminded that we serve a God who exists as three Persons in One, each being distinct from the others in Personhood but all working together in love and unity as the only Divine God: Creator, Sustainer, and Savior. Today, being a fifth Sunday, is also Missionary Sunday, and we remember and celebrate the task and opportunities we have been given to participate in the work of salvation on behalf of God for the good of all humankind. We will have a guest messenger, Mrs. Gwendolyn Yarbrough, who will be introduced later in the service.
