The theme in today's lessons is vineyards.

The first lesson from Isaiah 5 is a parable-like love song about the relationship between God and Israel.
In the gospel reading, from the book of Mathew, Jesus tells a vineyard parable, which serves as an image of Israel, the prophet's mission, and Christ's death.

Listen closely to Pastor Jerry's message as he explains the unexpected in today's lessons; having trust in God and His promises.

"Let our vineyard be fruitful, Lord, and fill to the brim our cup of blessings",
ELW #181.

Thanks be to God.
Blessings in your week ahead!
