Here she is. 1969 MG Midget. It don’t run, transmission is stuck, top doesn’t match, its rough to put it lightly. It is about 90% complete tho. We used to have a 1967 Austin Healey Sprite back in 1988. Obviously this kind of car isn’t baby friendly so we had to part with it. Now that we are out of the baby stage of life, it will make a perfect Sunday driver. Follow along as I transform this little car into something budget friendly and reliable enough to take on short summer road trips! Only 4 months until summer! I better get to work.

We aren’t the largest youth group in Alamogordo. BUT GOD doesn’t ask for numbers, He wants obedient, faithful, people who LOVE HIM and will tell others about Him. We don’t want to “train” Pastors, Evangelists, or Worship Leaders. Our focus is teaching the youth to love Jesus and have a genuine relationship with Him. From there they will develop into whatever God has called and equipped them to do. Prayer, Bible study and genuine fellowship.

How do I know if I am hearing Gods voice?

Three things that you can look for or listen for in a sense.

1. Does what you are hearing line up with the Word of God? John 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus is the Word of God. If what you are hearing goes against the teachings of Jesus, it’s NOT God. If it leads you to a closer relationship with God then chances are it is from God.
2. Who are you surrounded by, who are your friends? Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed. Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are. If you want someone to tickle your ears with what you WANT to hear, it can happen. If you want to hear from God you have to surround yourself with people who will tell you the truth in love.
3. Are you reading your Bible? Did you know that the Bible is a collection of 66 books written by 40 different authors with one main theme that is written SPECIFICALLY to you! John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The Word is a love letter to YOU that will answer ALL your questions about EVERYTHING that you can ever ask.
