Following Jesus isn’t always easy. But He is always worth following.

This Sunday, Pastor Michael continues our HARD THINGS series as we look at what it means to follow Jesus in obedience—even when what He asks of us is difficult.

And we’d especially love for you to come a little early! At 9:30 AM, we will have our Connection Group and begin a new study together. Come open your Bible with us, and grow alongside one another in God’s Word.

Then at 10:30 AM, we’ll gather for worship and continue our HARD THINGS series, and Pastor Michael will be speaking on DISCIPLESHIP.

Our next Women’s Fellowship is coming up Saturday, September 12 at 9:30 AM, and we’d love to spend the morning with you!

Come enjoy coffee, juice, muffins, and donuts while we slow down, visit, laugh, create, and enjoy fellowship with other women in our church and community.

We'll also be doing a Kinusaiga activity together ... so come ready to get a little creative! No special skills required.

Whether you’ve been to every Women’s Fellowship or you’ve never joined us before, you are welcome. Bring a friend, daughter, sister, neighbor, or simply come as you are.

They set the alarms. They got up. And they showed up. 🙌

What an incredible start to Teen Bible Study this morning at The Spot!

Before school, these students filled the room to spend time together and, most importantly, open God’s Word. There’s something pretty special about seeing this many young people choose to start their day this way.

Thank you to Pastor Michael and Pastor Logan for leading them this morning, to The Spot for welcoming everyone in, and to all those who help make these Wednesday mornings possible.

And this is just the beginning! Throughout the school year, you can help support Teen Bible Study by giving directly to The Spot to help provide breakfast items and drinks for the students each Wednesday morning. Stop inside or visit the drive-thru and let them know you’d like your gift to go toward Teen Bible Study.

Most importantly, keep praying for these students as they gather week after week; that they would grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and in their relationship with Him. 🤍

Some things Jesus asks us to do are hard. Forgiveness is one of them.

Sunday, Pastor Michael kicked off our new series, Hard Things, in Matthew 18:21–35.

Peter asked how many times he should forgive someone. Seven times sounded generous. Jesus answered, “Until seventy times seven.”

The point? Forgiveness was never meant to be something we count.

We were reminded of three reasons we forgive:

Because God has already forgiven us.
Because His mercy is greater than our hurt.
Because unforgiveness only puts us in bo***ge.

Maybe this is a message you need to hear again this week (I know I do) or one you missed on Sunday.

Set the alarm. ⏰ Teen Bible Study is back!

There’s something pretty special about teens choosing to get up early, meet together, and start their day in God’s Word. ❤️

Teen Bible Study starts this Wednesday at 6:30 AM at The Spot! Come spend the morning with friends, dig into God’s Word, and grab something good from The Spot while you’re there.

Whether you’ve been coming for years or this will be your very first time, all teens are welcome. Bring a friend; we’d love to have you!

NEW SERMON SERIES

HARD THINGS: Following Jesus When Obedience Isn't Easy.

Because in life, we are going to face hard things.
And sometimes, the hard thing is *not* our circumstances. The hard thing is choosing to obey God.

Contrary to popular belief, following Jesus was never promised to be easy. Jesus never once said obedience would be convenient.

He said, “deny yourself.”
He said, “take up your cross and follow me.”
He said, “love your enemies.”

Obedience can be hard.
But hard does not mean impossible. God never commands something without equipping us to do it.

Paul says it best in Philippians 4:13 – "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

As a Christian, we can do all things.
“All things” includes, “hard things."
We can do hard things through Christ which strengthens us.

That’s what we are going to deal with over the next few weeks.
