Happy Graduation Sunday!!
We had an amazing day celebrating our Seniors and incorporating them into our service. We heard moving testimonies, beautiful singing, and were encouraged in the message.
Thank you, Akron FBC family, for investing in the next generation and allowing them to be a blessing to you this week.

Vicky was such a ray of sunshine in our lives! The love and light she shared will be so missed! She loved the Lord and everyone around her! She was always so grateful for her blessings and we are so very grateful for her!

We are heartbroken over the passing of Brett Van Noort. Our love and prayers are with the family and loved ones during this tragic time. 💔🙏

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 22 from 4:00-7:00.

Prayer Service at 7:00.

Funeral will be held on Thursday, April 23 at 10:30.

There will be NO Family Worship Wednesday activities on Wednesday, April 22 as Visitation and Prayer Service will be held that evening.

Brett L. Van Noort, 51 of Akron, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Funeral Service will be 1030 a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Akron, Iowa. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Visitation with the family present will begin at 400
