Tomorrow we will gather to celebrate Holy Trinity Sunday, remembering that we are all called into relationship with God, to be partners with God's Good Work in the world.

The service will include a beautiful rendition of the Creation story from Genesis, and a Blessing of the Quilts.

Please join us as we gather in the presence of our Triune God - God the Creator, God the Savior, and God the Holy Spirit.

We give thanks for the life of Harry Lecy - the joy, humor, love, and faithfulness he brought to our lives and to this world.
We now celebrate with him as he dwells eternally in the presence of his Lord and Savior.

Pentecost Sunday celebrates the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all believers, empowering the church for mission, and proclaiming that God’s Spirit is unbound and available to all.

Rummage sales are a big project.
And a church rummage sale is an extra large undertaking.

Thanks to the many wonderful volunteers at First Lutheran Church, yesterday's church-wide sale was another success.

Thank you very much to all the hard-working helpers, and thank you to all who so generously donated items, and those who came to shop.

All proceeds support the good work of the First Lutheran Church Women's group.

Tomorrow we conclude our post-Easter worship series, "Stories that Matter." We will celebrate the Ascension of Jesus and consider how we are a vital part of living the sequel of Jesus' mission, ministry, and love into the world today.

Pastor Maribeth has a "bubbly" idea for explaining the Ascension to the children, and, helping us all make sense of what it means for us living in the world today.

Busy weekend at First Lutheran!

Stop by for our very large church-wide rummage sale tomorrow, May 16.

Then, join us for worship on Sunday as the Easter Season, and our post-Easter worship series concludes with the Ascension of Jesus. Resurrection Band will provide the music.

Following worship, our new knitting/crochet group will gather. This is for experienced and brand-new-wanting-to-learn crafts people, men and women! We are making cold-weather items to be donated to Peoples Church, ELCA in Bemidji.

We have so many clean, quality donations for our churchwide Rummage Sale!

And, we need LOTS of helpers for set up, pricing, working the day of the sale, and assisting with clean up.

Preparation has begun.

We were abundantly blessed to have Pastor Kirsten as our guest preacher yesterday.

We also honored and blessed ALL the special women who have positively impacted our lives.
