Hey church family, I am looking forward to being back in the pulpit this Sunday. I am so grateful for all of your prayers and encouragement during this time. God is truly faithful, and you all have been such a great witness of his love, grace, and compassion during this time. We are kicking off a new sermon series called Journeying with Christ. This weekend, we are going to focus on grace and repentance.

I will be returning to the office gradually, so if you need me, please call or email me. Have a blessed week!

Hey church family I wanted to say thank you for the prayers. I’m doing fine I went to the emergency room after church to get checked out and all my test came back fine. I did have a cardiac episode and my device functioned as it was designed. I’m doing some follow-ups with the doctors. Again thank you all for your prayers! I’ll see you Wednesday!

It was amazing to see so many people out last night at our first Wednesday Family Night of the year! God is up to great things here at Antioch, and this year is going to be exciting. I look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday. Come expecting!

We still have needs in our Children's and Youth Ministries. Please pray about helping in these important ministries.

This week, as we enter the fourth week of Advent, let’s prepare our hearts for where God will lead us. This weekend, we focus on Jesus as the Light of the World and on the Chrismon symbols of the Star, the Candle, and, finally, the Anchor. We must recognize that God is always drawing us toward Jesus, and Advent proclaims that God shines into the darkness of our lives, guiding us step by step toward Jesus. It reveals that He is ever-present and dwells among us, anchoring us in the knowledge that His love is stronger than death. So, this week, here are a couple of passages to read and pray on as you prepare for this weekend.

John 8:12; 2 Corinthians 4:6; Isaiah 60:1-3; Isaiah 9:2

Good morning, Antioch! I want to take a moment to thank Amy Howell and the entire crew again for last night’s Christmas Program. They did a fantastic job and delivered a powerful presentation of the Gospel. Also, I’d like to thank everyone who helped make the social time afterward happen. It was great seeing everyone stay and enjoy all the refreshments!

Just a reminder of some of our upcoming events.
Open House at the Parsonage: December 20, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm Come by and enjoy some fellowship and finger foods.

Food Pantry: December 27, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. They still need bags of Black Eye Peas and grits.

Good morning, Antioch Family! What an awesome Harvest Service we had this past weekend. God is so good. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special day. We are truly blessed as a church.

Just a couple of updates: we are canceling our Sunday night activities and will launch our Wednesday Night Gatherings on January 14, 2026. Wednesdays will include dinner, followed by Bible studies and children’s ministry. We aim to make this as convenient as possible for everyone and to offer something the whole family can participate in. Dinner will start at 6:00, with Bible studies and choir practice beginning at 6:30. Our goal is to finish everything by 7:30.

I want to remind everyone that we still need food for our Food Pantry. You can drop off your donations in the Narthex. I know they are asking for rice and canned foods. Let’s do our best to fill the pantry before the November 22 food bank.

Hey Antioch Family

A reminder: this weekend marks the end of Daylight-Saving Time, so set your clocks back or you’ll be showing up to church an hour early!

Wow, what an incredible weekend. God is so good, isn’t He! This past Sunday, we had our Trunk or Treat, and according to many, it was the largest we’ve ever seen here at Antioch. I am so thankful for everyone who participated and made this event a success. Again, thank you to everyone who provided a trunk, dropped off candy, and brought out the kids!

Just as a reminder, Harvest Day is on November 9th. Rev Henry Bass is our guest speaker, and I know it’s going to be a fantastic day of celebration. I’ve been told that the dinner afterward is absolutely amazing. I look forward to seeing everyone on that Sunday!

Also, please pray for our partner church, Pine Level Methodist in Fitzgerald. Let’s pray that God pours his grace, love, and passion into them.
