Has Jesus left the building? ⛪🌊

This Sunday, Pastor Paul shared that our job isn't to control God, but to catch up to what He is already doing out in the world.

He shared a story about a church meeting where people argued inside while a beach festival happened right outside. Someone finally stood up and challenged the room, saying Jesus might have already left the building to join the party on the beach. It's a wonderful reminder that we don't take God into the world with us—He is already out there ahead of us!

Letting go of control isn't giving up to fate. It’s a daring step of faith to trust that Jesus is exactly who He says He is.

Pentecost isn't just a birthday—it’s graduation day! 🎓🕊️

This Sunday, Glenn challenged us to see Pentecost as our commencement. Just like graduates moving their tassels, we have been entrusted with carrying God's mission out into the world.

Through the Holy Spirit, God speaks directly to the "language of our hearts" so we can make a real connection with the world around us. The Spirit fills us, moving us from learners to teachers, and from observers to healers.

Remember: we come here so that we can be out there! Let's step into this week ready to live and to love like Jesus. The world has never desperately needed the witness of the Church more than it does right now. 🌍✨

Join us for our church barbecue dinner tomorrow evening at 6:00. We will be having our meal indoors in the fellowship hall. We’ll have plenty of food so come on out and bring a friend.
