Since its founding in 1963, Temple Shalom has endeavored to meet the spiritual, cultural and social needs of the Reform Jewish Community of Northern Monmouth and Southeastern Middlesex counties. Temple Shalom offers many and varied educational, cultural and social activities. We have very active Youth, Brotherhood and Sisterhood groups. Our religious school, which spans the entire range from kindergarten through 12th grade, is a source of pride and ready to welcome your student. At Temple Shalom, we're thrilled to invite your little ones to our exciting Shabbat services designed just for them. What is Tribe Vibe?
Tribe Vibe is a group at Temple Shalom aimed at providing opportunities for social engagement for younger adults and families. We offer activities for families with Hebrew School aged children and younger, as well as for adults aged 26-49 with or without children. If you fall into either of these groups, then Tribe Vibe is the place for you! Our events are a mix of family-focused and adult-only activities.

Join us for this meaningful evening as our Confirmands affirm their commitment to Jewish life, learning, and community. Together, we'll welcome Shavuot, commemorating the giving of the Torah, while recognizing this important milestone in our students' Jewish journeys.

As Jews, we mourn with our Muslim neighbors after the horrific attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego. We know too well the pain of violence entering a sacred place of prayer, and our tradition teaches that every human life is created in the image of God. An attack on worshippers is an attack on our shared humanity. In this moment, we stand in grief, solidarity, and prayer with the Muslim community, rejecting hatred in all its forms and praying for healing, comfort, and peace.
