We serve communities in Monmouth and Middlesex counties in New Jersey, including Aberdeen, Colts Neck, Holmdel, Marlboro, Matawan, Middletown, Old Bridge, and Sayreville. Since its founding in 1963, Temple Shalom has endeavored to meet the spiritual, cultural and social needs of the Reform Jewish Community of Northern Monmouth and Southeastern Middlesex counties. Temple Shalom offers many and varied educational, cultural and social activities. We have very active Youth, Brotherhood and Sisterhood groups. Our religious school, which spans the entire range from kindergarten through 12th grade, is a source of pride and ready to welcome your student. It is our aim to make Temple Shalom a warm, caring and welcoming place.

Dive into the magic of Jewish cinema with Adult Jewish Growth's Cinema Shalom!

Join us on Tuesday, September 15 at 7:30 PM in the Temple Shalom Social Hall for a screening of “Dead Sea Guardians”, a documentary that follows an Israeli, a Jordanian, and a Palestinian who team up to swim across the dying Dead Sea to raise awareness and save it from disappearing.

Light refreshments will be served. To help us plan for food, please RSVP to [email protected] no later than September 10.

🎒 Help Stock the Shelves for a New School Year! ✏️

The Temple Shalom Social Action Committee is sponsoring a School Supply Drive through September 2 to help local families get ready for the new school year.

School supplies have become increasingly expensive, and for some families, the cost of notebooks, backpacks, pencils, pens, highlighters, and other essentials can be a real financial burden. Your donation can help make sure that every student has the supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn!

The drive runs through September 2.

Please call the Temple office (732-566-2621) to schedule your drop-off.

** Religious Education at Temple Shalom! **

Temple Shalom of Aberdeen is dedicated to providing enriched learning opportunities for students of all ages! Whether you’re joining our youngest students in Torah Tots and Camp Shalom, or engaging in Religious School or Hebrew High School, there’s something for everyone. Students will be introduced to exploring their Jewish roots and heritage and how they relate to today’s world.

Our interactive and experiential approach brings learning to life, connecting our classrooms to the world around us. Together, we’ll explore our beliefs and their relevance in today’s times. Plus, all classes are only ONE day a week — perfect for busy schedules!
