YOUTH MINISTRY WEEKEND ENGAGEMENT REPORT

The weekend was dedicated to planning and consultation on upcoming youth ministry programs within the Catholic Diocese of Makeni.

On Friday, the Diocesan Youth Executive held an executive meeting to review ongoing activities and discuss strategies for strengthening youth ministry across the Diocese.

On Saturday, the Executive met with representatives from the five deaneries to discuss upcoming programs, share updates from their respective deaneries, and explore ways to enhance youth participation, leadership, and faith formation.

The meetings were productive and strengthened collaboration between the Diocesan Youth Executive and the deaneries. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to promoting active youth engagement and supporting the growth of youth ministry throughout the Diocese.

•Proverbs 3:5-6// Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

•Philippians 4:6-7// Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

•Philippians 4:19- And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

•Luke 12:24- Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!

•Psalm 37:4-6// Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
