GENERAL THEME: FULL REDEMPTION FOR ALL THROUGH CHRIST.
TEXT: Romans 3:23
BACKGROUND
Redemption means to be free. The victory that you are to have, that you don't have . You are in the hand of someone else. That is why the Lord made a plan to free us. And Jesus was sent for that purpose.
TOPIC: THE NEED FOR REDEMPTION
TEXT: Roman 3:23.
All have sinned, and have fall short of the glory of God. The reason why people sin is because, they don't know that what they do is evil. See 1st John 3:8. "He that committed sin is of the devil"wether, Illiterate, educated, prophet, person that know God, person that do not know God. The Bible says the preacher, the Bishop that commit sin is of the devil. That means, all sinners are of the devil. What does that mean? When the Bible says" he that committed sin is of the devil, the bible did not mention that Wether you are a lier, a thief or whatever you call it, commits sin.
MAJOR DIVISIONS
POINT I. THE GOD PURPOSE OF MAN'S CREATION: Reference: Gen 1:26.
The purpose why God created is " and God said let us make man in our own image to have dominion ". The last thing that God created is man, after all the creation which include trees, sea and all animals.Gen 2:15. God put man in the Garden of Israel to dress it, and to keep it. See the tree of test of love of obedient was created. God did created all things for Adam and Eve, but just instructed them not to touch a particular fruit 🍓 of a tree. They were managing directors for everything. The Bible let us to know that we that have redemption in the Lord.
POINT II. THE GREEDY PERVERSION OF MAN'S CONSCIENCE.
God made man and gave him everything, but yet still greed overtook him. See Gen 3: 1.
The devil enter the serpent to tempt man. Chapter 3:2 of Genesis. The woman spoke to the serpent. See God gave authority to man to give name to all animals as numerous as they are. He call all the animals and gave them names. Serpent and all other animals. Satan study the Serpent well, and enter through it, to speak to her( Eve), without knowing that it was Satan that entered it to speak to her as in the scripture. The wonder is where did the sense of Eve went when she got involved. Similarly, this is how we are often not aware when we commit sin, we don't have the authority to condem Eve, Because often, our senses are taken away when we commit the wrong. We loose our senses. The sin Adam and Eve committed brought confusion to the entire generation. In eating the forbidden tree, the exchanged their divine authority to Satan. See the background to this is that, it is the hatred Satan acquired having been over throwned from heaven, developed hatred and fought to bring Adam and Eve down. In the process of eating the forbidden tree, the exchange of authority took place. After all, these happened:
Disobedience, self will, covetousness occured, with all the many food in the garden, the left and eat were they were not supposed to eat, rebellion, lost of the flesh, pride of life came in. After all this has happen, God came in Gen 3:8, Adam and Eve hide away from God as God could come in cool of the day , at the place of their usual meeting, God call them, they were unable to face God because their conscience was affected, which brought suffering for them to the entire human race. Gen 3:24. They got separated from God. Spiritually dead. Note all sinners are dead people before God.
Furthermore, another nation entered them. The nature of Satan entered them. Unto today sin possess the life of every man from childhood. It is prudent to know that wether you are a bishop or pastor, any child you give birth to, that child is a sinner. Can you imagine, a one year old child will get angry with his parent even though no body has though her to be angry, that means sin is passed through the nature of a man.
POINT III. THE GRACIOUS PRICE PAID FOR OUR CONVERSION/ REDEMPTION
Gen 3:14-15. In verse 15, the seed was refers to Jesus. " I will put enemy between you and the woman and he shall bruise thy head, ( he will smashed your head, I will finish you. Referring to Jesus). See Hebrew 9:22. See-no forgiveness of sin is possible without the shedding of blood. Glory be to God that Jesus came. If it were blood that was supposed to redeem man, the blood of no creature was fit. The only blood that was fit, was the blood of Jesus. Prophesied by John the Baptist. See-John 1:29. "Behold the Lamb of God who taketh away the sin of man". Jesus who never committed sin, came in human flesh, pride of life couldn't succeed over him and many act of the sinful nature of man. Whilst nailed on the cross, he cried " It is finish" showcasing that all our sickness and trouble including sin is over. Jesus cried " father why has thou forsaken me?" Separation took place, Jesus though he has been forsaken, but because Justice demanded our salvation, he died on the cross. He died on the cross to save us from sin. When there was no sin, man spoke with all animals, there was no mosquito 🦟 bite and no sicknesses. But know that, Jesus is available to save you.
CONCLUSION
If you have not got Christ, or have any single or aiota of sin, then, you are required to give your life to Christ for his total redemption with note on this scripture John 1:7 If only you confess, Jesus's blood is sufficient to cleanse you from all sin, and Marcy will be available for you.
