【中文往下滑】Hello there. Qingming is a time to remember our ancestors and loved ones who have left us. No matter where they are, they always wish for the living to dedicate merits to them from time to time. This in itself is a form of filial piety, which opens the doorway for the deities to bless the person doing so.

Qingming is also a great period to do good and ask for forgiveness. This is why each year Poh Ern Shih's Qingming Puja offers options to dedicate merits to personal karmic debtors, wandering spirits and unborn children in the ghost realm. To be able to show compassion to these beings generates a lot of merit not just for them, but also for yourself and your family.
