简说「观音诞法会」：

观音菩萨为什么有三个圣诞日？

观音菩萨的诞生日是农历二月十九日，成道日是农历六月十九日，出家日是农历九月十九日。

观音菩萨圣诞的起源和依据，现在均无法考定。但按照佛教讲，菩萨实是无量劫前就已修成正果，进入阿耨多罗三藐三菩提的境界，是为正法明佛，号“正法明如来”。其后又以菩萨的身份乘愿再来，到娑婆世界普渡众生。

出生在世间代表一个新生命的诞生，在佛法中代表者光明智慧的出现。一个修道者发心出家修道以后，就要尽其一生奉献三宝，普度众生，承担起佛教的命脉与众生的利乐。意思是说，这个世间如果没有圣者「诞生」、「出家」与「成道」，凡夫众生就会因为迷惘无知广造众恶，沉沦于生死苦海中不得解脱。唯有圣者出世给这个世间带来光明智慧，才能够把我们从生死的苦海中救脱出来。

从佛经教义的记述，我们可以了解对于观音菩萨的圣诞日，最为看重的还是观音菩萨的出家日和成道日。对于诞生日（二月十九）是一种对观音菩萨成人入世的纪念，但是说到观音菩萨的出家日（九月十九）和成道日（六月十九）是则是一种对于观音菩萨本身的佛性修行的缅怀和体会。通过观音菩萨的出家日和成道日了解观音菩萨出家成道的由来和修行经过，以勉励佛信徒的修行坚韧。

我们之所以将观音菩萨的出生日、成道日、出家日称之为为圣诞日，因为菩萨的出世、成道、出家不仅是度化众生悲心愿力的显现，更是给社会人类带来福祉的使命。因此每年的这三个殊胜日，各寺院都会举办「观音诞法会」，由法师主持诵经祈福法会，同时也让信众随缘供佛、点灯、供斋等，祈愿慈悲护佑，无忧无恙。

The Three Important Dates of Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara :

In the lunar calendar, there are three important dates celebrating Guanyin's Birthday, Enlightenment Day, and Renunciation Day, which take place on February 19th, June 19th, and September 19th respectively. GUANYIN or GuanShiYin (Avalokitesvara in Sanskrit) means "Observing the Cries of the World", also often called the Goddess of Mercy, is a Bodhisattva or enlightened being who hears the sufferings of the world and reaches out in compassion.

On each of the three holy days, Buddhist temples hold major observances, involving burning of incense, lighting candles, chanting, making offerings and prostrating in homage. Many believers will visit temples or at least burn incense and chant at home in front of a Guanyin statue.

农历六月十九，是观音菩萨成道日。

观音菩萨是佛教四大菩萨之一，是大慈大悲的化身，他本人早已成佛，只是为了安乐成熟众生，倒驾慈航，随缘应世，以三十二应身随处救度受苦众生，而所求皆应。他具备十四种布施众生无所畏惧的无边神力，四种不可思议无作无为的胜妙德用，具足一切无碍神通，广修种种善巧方便，历来在民间广受礼敬供养。

“家家弥陀佛、户户观世音”，观音菩萨的信仰千百年来早已广泛流传。每年的农历六月十九观音菩萨成道日，佛教认为，此日念佛、诵经、持咒、放生犹为殊胜，具大功德。

本堂将于01/08/2026举行观音法会以纪念观音成道纪念日，诚诵《普门品》，欢迎佛友随喜登记供佛、供花、供灯。

Guanyin, Guan Yin or Kuan Yin is the most commonly used Chinese translation of the bodhisattva known as Avalokiteśvara. Guanyin is the Buddhist Bodhisattva associated with Compassion.

In the East Asian, Guanyin is the equivalent term for Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.

Guanyin also refers to the bodhisattva as adopted by other Eastern religions. She was first given the appellation of "Goddess of Mercy" or the Mercy Goddess by Jesuit missionaries in China.

The Chinese name Guanyin is short for GuanShiYin, which means "[The One Who] Perceives the Sounds of the World."

On the 19th day of the 6th Lunar Month, Guan Shi Yin's attainment of Enlightenment is celebrated.

Devotees are welcomed to participate in our prayer event held on 1st August 2026 to celebrate the Enlightment Day of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.

卫 塞 节 （ Wesak Day ） ， 源 自 古 印 度 的 巴 利 文 “ 卫 塞 迦 ”（Vaisakha），意指五月的月圆之日（通常是农历四月十五）。这个节日，纪念的是佛教的三大盛事，即佛陀的诞生、成道及涅槃。

卫塞节，也象征了佛陀六年苦行悟宇宙真相，自觉觉他，觉行圆满的智慧光辉，发扬了慈悲平等教义。

卫塞节又称为佛陀日或花节，原因是因为佛陀在蓝毗尼花园诞生，传说那时天上散下许多香花，在菩提树下成道时及涅盘时，天上也散下香花。为此，每年的这个节日，佛教徒常到佛像前供奉香花，来表示对佛陀的感恩和敬仰。

每年卫塞节，大大小小的寺院，除了诵经、布施、供斋、放生、点灯、献花外，也少不了浴佛与传灯。

浴佛的真正意义除了净化个人的身口意，更表示佛教徒必须负起责任，着手洗涤这五浊恶世，还社会清净安宁，没有贪污、暴力、诈欺、邪恶等事件；转五浊恶世为清净的净土，导邪曲人心为善良菩提。

佛法犹如明灯，能照破世间黑暗，所以把传法称为传灯。传灯就是正法久住、续佛慧命、绍隆佛种，传灯就是攝化众生、供养三宝、广度有情，传灯就是破迷除暗、培植福慧，增长福慧。

Vesak (Wesak) Day is the holiest day of the year in Buddhism, which commemorates the Buddha's Birth, Enlightenment, and Death (Attainment of Nirvana). Buddhism is based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, who came to be known as Buddha, or "The Enlightened One."

Vesak Day is a time to pay tribute to Buddha’s life and reflect on his teachings. A special ritual takes place known as ‘Bathing the Buddha’ in which people pour fragrant water over a statue of Buddha to symbolize inner purification and act as a reminder to clear their minds of negative thoughts. Other activities such as chanting of mantras, releasing of caged animals, candlelight procession and various offering to the Triple Gems are also observed on this day.

To celebrate Vesak Day this year, we welcome devotees to join us for the “Buddha Bathing Ceremony” on 30th May 2026 @ 1930hrs and Vesak Day Prayer on 31st May 2026 @ 1030hrs. Please feel free to participate and register for the prayer event.

浅说四摄法：

学佛者待人接物，用四种方法，引导众生，使他能接受佛法，世尊称这是「四摄法」。

大宝积经卷第五十四 ，菩萨藏会第十二之二十大自在天授记品第十二：「尔时，彼佛复告精进行童子：‘云何菩萨摩诃萨随摄法转？童子当知，菩萨摩诃萨，具足如来四摄之法；由是法故，菩萨摩诃萨恒处长夜摄诸众生。何等为四？所谓布施、爱语、利行、同事，如是名为四种摄法。」

四摄法（catvāri saṃgraha-vastūni）是菩萨度化众生的四种方便法门，旨在通过建立信任与好感，将众生导入佛法正道。四摄包括 ①布施摄、②爱语摄、③利行摄、④同事摄，概括为「先以欲钩牵，后令入佛智」。

在日常生活中，我们也可以通过物质给予、柔和语言、利益他人及共同参与，有效建立和谐人际关系，并促进彼此关照与和谐社会构建。

1. 布施 - Dāna（给予与欢喜）
o 含义： 包含财施（物质帮助）、法施（经验分享、智慧教导）、无畏施（给予安全感、安慰）。
o 应用： 在日常生活中，可以是真诚的微笑、温暖的问候、帮同事递一个工具，或在他人迷茫时给予建议。

2. 爱语 - Priyavādita（柔和与赞叹）
o 含义： 依循众生的根性，使用柔和、真诚、清净的语言进行关怀和劝导。
o 应用： 随喜赞叹他人的优点，说鼓励鼓励的话，不讲恶口、两舌的话，从而增进信任，减少误解。

3. 利行 - Arthacaryā（行动与利益）
o 含义： 行为举止皆以利他为出发点，做有利于他人的事。
o 应用： 养成爱岗敬业、勤劳勇敢的精神，在工作中协助同事，社会中维护公共利益，做到利己利人。

4. 同事 - Samānārthatā（共同与融入）
o 含义： 深入大众中，在事业或立场上与他人志同道合，共同奋斗。
o 应用： 设身处地理解他人，在工作或爱好上共同合作，从而拉近距离，融洽关系。

四摄法是菩萨落实「六度」修行、普度众生的有效人际交往与社会关系法门，常用于处理生活、职场及家庭中与他人的良善关系。

The Four Means of Embracing are skillful means (Upaya) used by Bodhisattvas to transform sentient beings. The goal is to build trust and goodwill to lead them toward the Right Path. They are also Buddhist practices designed to foster positive relationships, reduce ego, and guide beings toward awakening.

The Four Means of Embracing include Generosity, Kind Speech, Beneficial Action, and Empathy, serving as tools to build harmony.
In daily life, we can build a harmonious society by offering material help, using gentle speech, acting for the benefit of others, and participating alongside them.

The Four Applications in Interpersonal Relationships：
1. Generosity — Dāna (Giving and Joy)
Meaning: Includes Material Giving (resources), Dharma Giving (sharing wisdom/experience), and Fearlessness Giving (providing comfort and security).
Application: A sincere smile, a warm greeting, helping a colleague with a task, or offering advice when someone is lost.

2. Kind Words — Priyavādita (Gentleness and Praise)
Meaning: Using soft, sincere, and pure language to care for and advise others based on their unique dispositions.
Application: Praising others' strengths, offering encouragement, and avoiding harsh or divisive speech to build trust and reduce misunderstanding.

3. Beneficial Action — Arthacaryā (Action and Interest)
Meaning: Ensuring all conduct is rooted in altruism—doing things that truly benefit others.
Application: Being diligent and brave in your work, assisting colleagues, and protecting the public interest to achieve "benefit for both self and others."

4. Empathy / Shared Aim — Samānārthatā (Cooperation and Integration)
Meaning: Immersing oneself among the people, sharing their perspectives, and working together toward common goals or careers.
Application: Putting yourself in others' shoes and collaborating on projects or hobbies to close the distance between people and foster harmony.

In conclusion, The Four Means of Embracing are the practical application of the "Six Perfections." They are effective methods for fostering healthy relationships in life, the workplace, and the family.

「观音」这个名词是由梵文音译过来的，在鸠摩罗什翻译的版本里叫做「观世音」，而在玄奘翻译的版本里叫做「观自在」。

「观世音」者，观世人称彼菩萨名之音而垂救，故称为观世音；「观自在」者，观世界而自在拔苦与乐。在佛教中，遇难众生祇须诵念其名号，其即前往拯救解难，故名观音，『观世音菩萨即时观其音声，皆得解脱』，其名即由此而来。

农历二月十九，观世音菩萨圣诞日，也是全世界佛教信众朝拜观音、盛赞观音大士之圣法的隆重佛教节日之一。

善福堂将于2026年3月6日举行观音诞法会，普愿大众皆蒙菩萨庇佑，积聚无量福慧，启发慈悲利他之心。

Guan Yin is the most commonly used Chinese translation of the Bodhisattva known as Avalokiteśvara. In Buddhism, Avalokiteśvara is a bodhisattva who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. The Chinese name Guanyin is short for Guan Shi Yin, which means [“The One Who” Perceives the Sounds of the World], indicating the compassionate ability to listen for pleas of help so as to come to the aid of the in need.

To celebrate the birthday of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Guan Yin), which falls on 6th March 2026, Shan F**k Tong Temple will hold the Guanyin Bodhisattva’s Birthday Puja and will be reciting the Universal Door Chapter of the Lotus Sutra.

Devotees are welcomed to participate and register for the prayer event.
