Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, yesterday we had AidilAdha prayers and this year, with the permission granted from SLA, MUIS and the relevant authorities, we were able to secure additional space at the open grass patch in front of the mosque where a tentage was set up to expand our prayer space and accommodate more congregants on the blessed occasion of AidilAdha. With the expansion of prayer space, we were also able to accommodate ladies to pray at our mosque.

Our khatib for the day was Al-Fadhil Ustaz Abdul Hafiz who led the AidilAdha prayers and delivered the sermon. After prayers, our congregants were given a packet of briyani each as they left the mosque.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Ta'ala Wabarakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, last Tuesday evening we gathered together for Majlis Ta'rif led by our Ustaz Abdul Hafiz.

As tentage for AidilAdha prayers was ready and completed, the majlis was shifted from the mosque prayer hall to the tentage so that we can experience how it will be like having the event there in preparation for AidilAdha prayers the following day.

After the majlis, the congregants broke fast with dates and water upon azan Maghrib. The takbir was chanted after Mahgrib prayers signifying we have transitioned from the blessed day of Arafah to AidilAdha.

Congregants were then invited to have a delicious meal of bamia.

After Isyak prayers and chanting of takbir, the mosque management board, staffs and activists gathered for a briefing session for AidilAdha operations. Everyone proceed with the set up at the mosque vicinity and the new tentage area in front of the mosque before ending the day.
