🌅 Day 7 (Sunday): My First Love

📖 “You have left your first love.” – Revelation 2:4

Morning Devotion

As days go by, it’s easy to focus only on work and forget the joy of knowing Jesus. But He calls you back today not to duty, but to delight. Do you still love Him like the first time you believed? Return to that first love. Let your heart burn for Him again.

✅ Question: Is my heart still burning with love for Jesus?

🙏 Prayer: Jesus, forgive me if I have drifted. I return to You my first love. Fill me with Your passion again.

🌙 Evening Reflection

As the week ends, ask yourself: Was Jesus still my center this week? Or was I too busy to enjoy Him?

📝 Reflection: What can I change next week to keep Jesus as my first love?

🙏 Prayer: Jesus, thank You for reminding me of Your love. I want to keep You first in my heart, not just on Sunday—but every day.

🌅 Day 6: I Belong to God’s Family

📖 “You are members of God’s household.” – Ephesians 2:19

Morning Devotion

In your new home, you may feel like an outsider but in God’s house, you belong. You are part of a big spiritual family, not just in Singapore but around the world. Other believers at church, in your support group, or online—are your brothers and sisters. You don’t have to walk alone.

✅ Question: Who is in my spiritual family that God wants me to connect with?

🙏 Prayer: Lord, thank You for the family of faith. Help me walk in unity, love, and support.

🌙 Evening Reflection

Did someone at church, work, or in your group remind you today that you’re not alone? God’s love flows through people.

📝 Reflection: How can I bless someone in my spiritual family tomorrow?

🙏 Prayer: Father, thank You for surrounding me with people who care. Help me also be a blessing to others.

🌅 Day 5: The Holy Spirit is My Helper

📖 “The Holy Spirit… will teach you all things…” – John 14:26

Morning Devotion

As you serve others today—cleaning, cooking, caring—remember that you are not doing it alone. The Holy Spirit is with you to guide your thoughts, comfort your heart, and give you strength. He’s your Helper when you feel tired, your Teacher when you’re unsure, and your Friend when you feel lonely.

✅ Question: Am I relying on the Holy Spirit or on my own strength?

🙏 Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me in every task today. I invite You to walk with me through every moment.

🌙 Evening Reflection

Think back were there times today when you didn’t know what to do but things still worked out? That was the Holy Spirit helping you.

📝 Reflection: How did the Holy Spirit guide or comfort me today?

🙏 Prayer: Holy Spirit, thank You for being with me. Teach me to listen more closely to Your gentle voice.

🌅 Day 4: God is My Father

📖 “You received the Spirit of adoption… by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’” – Romans 8:15

Morning Devotion

In a new country, it’s easy to feel like a stranger. But in God’s eyes, you are not a stranger you are His daughter. He is not a boss or a distant God. He is your Father, close and kind, ready to care for you every moment. You can talk to Him, cry to Him, ask Him for help—just like a child to her dad.

✅ Question: Do I truly believe I have a Father in heaven who is near to me?

🙏 Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for loving me like Your own child. I trust You to care for me today.

🌙 Evening Reflection

Did you face a hard task, a misunderstanding, or a moment of weakness today? You have a Father who understands and never leaves. He was with you, even when you didn’t feel it.

📝 Reflection: How did God show His fatherly care for me today?

🙏 Prayer: Father, I may be far from my family, but I’m never far from You. Thank You for being near. I lay all my burdens at Your feet tonight.

🌅 Day 3: I Am a New Creation

📖 “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Morning Devotion

Coming to Singapore feels like starting a new life. But the biggest change is not your location—it’s your heart. In Jesus, you are not defined by your past, your job, or what others say about you. You are made new. You may not feel perfect, but God is working in you every day. Leave behind shame, fear, and guilt you are becoming more like Jesus.

✅ Question: What part of my old life do I need to let go of today?

🙏 Prayer: Lord, thank You for making me new. Help me walk in this new life You gave me.

🌙 Evening Reflection

You may have felt old habits or emotions rising today—but remember: You are no longer the same. Each step of obedience is proof that God is changing you.

📝 Reflection: Did I respond to a challenge today in a new way that reflects my faith?

🙏 Prayer: Lord, I give You my heart again. Thank You for transforming me little by little. I trust Your work in me.

Day 2: Jesus is My Savior

📖 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” – John 3:16

Morning Devotion

You may feel far from home, but you’re not far from God’s heart. Jesus gave His life for you because you are deeply loved. No matter your past, mistakes, or weaknesses, He came to save you, not to judge you. Today, let His love be your strength. You are forgiven. You are rescued. You are cherished.

✅ Question: What does it mean to me that Jesus died just for me?

🙏 Prayer: Jesus, thank You for saving me. Help me live today with peace and joy, knowing I belong to You.

🌙 Evening Reflection

As your day ends, remember your worth is not based on how others treat you, but on the fact that Jesus died for you. Even if today felt hard or lonely, nothing can separate you from His love.

📝 Reflection: Did I carry Jesus’ love in my heart today, even in busy or tiring moments?

🙏 Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. Tonight, I rest in Your love. I trust You with my tomorrow.

Day 1: God Knows Me by Name

📖 “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.” – Isaiah 43:1

💡 Devotional Thought

You may be in a new country, living with new people, speaking a new language—but you are not unknown or forgotten. Before your employer knew your name, God already knew it. He created you, called you, and chose you to be here. You are not just a worker or a helper—you are precious and deeply loved by God.

In a place where you might feel small or unnoticed, God sees you. He doesn’t just know your name—He knows your story, your fears, your dreams, and even the number of hairs on your head (Luke 12:7). You are not here by accident. God brought you to Singapore with a purpose—to walk with Him and shine for Him in your new environment.

🔍 Reflection Question

Do I believe that God sees me and cares about my life today? How does it make me feel that He knows my name?

🙏 Prayer

Father, thank You that You know me by name. Even when I feel homesick or alone, remind me that I am Yours. Help me trust that You brought me here for a reason. Today, I rest in the truth that I am known, seen, and loved by You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Evening Reflection: Resting in the God Who Sees Me

📖 “You are Mine.” – Isaiah 43:1

As your workday ends after cooking, cleaning, caring, and adjusting to many new things pause for a moment and remember that You were never alone. Every moment you felt tired, misunderstood, or unsure today, God was with you.

He saw the small things you did with love.
He heard the quiet prayers you whispered in your heart.
He noticed your effort, even when no one thanked you.

Your name is written on His heart.
Your presence in this home is part of His plan.
He is shaping your character and calling you closer to Him every day.

✨ Personal Reflection Questions:

What moment today reminded me that God is near?

Was there a time I felt unnoticed or discouraged
and can I give that to God now?

What am I thankful for tonight?

🙏 Evening Prayer:

Lord, thank You for walking with me today. When I felt weak, You were my strength. When I felt unseen, You reminded me that I am Yours. As I sleep, help me to rest in Your love and wake up with new hope. I trust You with my tomorrow. In Jesus’ name, amen.

As a parent, have you ever told your children that certain people are a ‘bad influence’ on them? If so, then this proverb should resonate with you. Even our Heavenly Father warns us not to follow the ways of the bad influence. Each step on a wrong path leads further from the true path and closer to ruin. So we must be watchful to avoid even the first step down such a road.

Isaiah 55:8-9
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
