Thy Kingdom Come Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement which the Archbishop of Canterbury is inviting people around the world to join.

The wave of prayer will start in May and run for 10 days between the Christian festivals of Ascension and Pentecost from 29th May -8th June 2025. It’s not complicated – we’re simply asking people to pray in whatever way they want and with whoever they choose for others to come to know Jesus Christ. When you sign up you can also pledge to hold a prayer event in your church. We’ll support you by em

This specific prayer meeting is hosted by the Church of England to see a doubling of CYP by 2030, however why not consider taking this time to pray for children and young people, across the denominations and traditions, or even host a prayer meeting in your church or network?

*A prayer for Children and Young People*

As many children and young people prepare to break up from school for the summer holidays, we pray God's blessing and protection upon them.

We pray for those who know God to grow deeper in their faith and for those who have yet to encounter God's love to be presented with opportunities to hear the Gospel this summer, in Jesus name, Amen.

Father God,

We thank you that your amazing love has been poured out for us at the cross and poured into us by the Holy Spirit. Lord we pray for those we know who do not yet know you, to experience the depth and breadth of your amazing love.
