2026 CHILDREN'S DAY SERVICE

MESSAGE BY: IDOREYIN UNWANA
TOPIC: Why are the children of now different from the children of those days?
TEXT: Prov. 22:6, 2 Tim. 3:1-5, Deut. 6:5-7, Isaiah 54:13-14

NOTE:
Prov. 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

In times past, children were intentionally raised in God’s Word, at home, on the way, at bedtime, and in everyday life. The home was the first church and the first school. But today, many children are shaped more by culture, media, and what they see around them than by godly instruction.

Scripture reminds us that if we don’t train our children, the world will. That’s why God calls on parents, teachers, and the church to take responsibility, teaching, guiding, and living as examples.

The good news? The solution has not changed.
Jesus still says, “Let the little children come to me.”

When we train a child in the way of the Lord, God promises that it will stay with them for life.
Let’s rise to raise a generation that knows God, loves Him, and walks in His truth.

Amen.
