*WE WILL NOT BE SILENT*
A Celebration of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye
There comes a time when silence becomes ingratitude.
There comes a time when honour becomes a sacred duty.
There comes a time when sons and daughters must rise to celebrate the gifts that God has given to a generation.
This is such a time.
We refuse to be silent while men and women of eternal significance are reduced to headlines, controversies, and social media trends.
We refuse to stand by while those who have sacrificed decades in service to God and humanity are casually criticized by people who have built nothing, fathered nobody, planted no churches, and transformed no nations.
The sons and daughters of prophets must never be silent while cheap publicity seekers use great men as instruments for attention.
A generation that does not honour its fathers has no future.
A people who cannot recognize greatness in their midst will eventually suffer the tragedy of its absence.
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is not merely a church leader.
He is not merely a denomination head.
He is not merely a respected minister.
He is one of the most significant Christian leaders of our generation and one of the greatest spiritual gifts God has given to Africa and the global Church.
We should never allow a man who chose humility to become the chewing stick of the uninformed.
We should never permit the noise of critics to drown out the voice of history.
We should never watch while modern-day Sauls seek to intimidate, discredit, or silence God’s servants.
Scripture records how King Saul pursued David.
Scripture records how Doeg the Edomite became an instrument of destruction against the priests of God.
Throughout history, political power has often sought to suppress prophetic voices.
Yet God has always preserved His servants and vindicated His purpose.
The Church must never become indifferent when its fathers are unfairly attacked.
Nor should we wait until our prophets cross into eternity before we begin to celebrate them.
Too often, flowers are sent to funerals when they should have been delivered while the recipient was still alive.
Too often, tributes are written after departure when gratitude should have been expressed during lifetime.
Today, we choose a different path.
We celebrate while the General is still marching.
We honour while the father is still speaking.
We appreciate while the prophet is still blessing nations.
We give thanks while the apostle is still raising generations.
*WE CELEBRATE HIS CALLING*
Pastor Adeboye did not choose ministry as a profession.
He answered it as a calling.
A brilliant mathematician.
A respected academic.
A man with every opportunity for professional success.
Yet he laid personal ambition upon the altar and followed the call of God.
The result has been decades of faithful service and unprecedented impact.
*WE CELEBRATE HIS COMMITMENT*
Commitment is staying faithful long after excitement has disappeared.
For more than four decades, Pastor Adeboye has remained steadfast.
He has remained committed to:
• Prayer.
• Holiness.
• Evangelism.
• Church planting.
• Discipleship.
• Kingdom advancement.
Many have started well.
Few have remained consistent for this long.
*WE CELEBRATE HIS CONSECRATION*
The secret behind public impact is private consecration.
Before the crowds came, there was prayer.
Before the platforms came, there was sacrifice.
Before the influence came, there was surrender.
Pastor Adeboye’s life reminds us that God still honours consecration.
He remains a symbol of purity, discipline, humility, and devotion to Christ.
*WE CELEBRATE HIS COVENANT*
Some achievements cannot be explained merely by strategy.
Some dimensions of impact cannot be explained merely by intelligence.
There is a covenant dimension to this story.
Under Pastor Adeboye:
• RCCG expanded across Africa.
• RCCG spread throughout Europe.
• RCCG established itself across North America.
• RCCG entered Asia.
• RCCG planted churches in the Middle East.
• RCCG reached the Pacific Islands.
• RCCG established a presence in South America.
Today, the church stands as one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the world. (Wikipedia)
How does a ministry move from less than forty churches to tens of thousands of congregations worldwide? (Over Fifty thousand branches )
How does one leader oversee decades of expansion across continents?
How does a movement grow from obscurity to global influence?
Behind every divine accomplishment stands a covenant-keeping God.
The historic Lekki gathering of 1998 remains one of the most talked-about Christian assemblies in modern history and is frequently cited among the largest Christian gatherings ever recorded. (The Christian Century)
These events demonstrated that Africa could host Christian gatherings on a scale previously thought unimaginable.
Pastor Adeboye’s journey is a testimony to the faithfulness of God.
*WE CELEBRATE THE PHENOMENON*
We celebrate the pastor.
We celebrate the prophet.
We celebrate the apostolic leader.
We celebrate the mentor.
We celebrate the church planter.
We celebrate the soul winner.
We celebrate the father of fathers.
We celebrate the builder of generations.
We celebrate the visionary.
We celebrate the revivalist.
We celebrate the man who has inspired millions to love Christ, pursue holiness, and believe that God can do exceedingly abundantly above all they ask or think.
*OUR DECLARATION*
We will not be silent.
We will not be ashamed to honour greatness.
We will not wait until tomorrow to celebrate what God has done today.
We will not allow temporary criticism to erase permanent accomplishments.
We will not allow the noise of a moment to overshadow the impact of a lifetime.
We celebrate Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
A servant of Christ.
A father in the faith.
A pastor to millions.
A prophet to nations.
A builder of generations.
A gift from God to the Church.
And may future generations continue to draw inspiration from a life that has been wholly surrendered to the purposes of God.
