The 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 joyfully participated in the first-ever 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of the Diocese of Urdaneta, held on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙐𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙖 in Bayaoas, Urdaneta City.

May this meaningful gathering widen their understanding in serving the Church as they enrich their knowledge of sacred music and discover the treasure of the liturgy.
May God strengthen their commitment to serve His people and community through liturgical music, guiding the music ministers and choristers in their service to the Church in sacred manners.

With hearts full of gratitude and joy, the 𝖣𝗂𝗏𝗂𝗇𝖾 𝖬𝖾𝗋𝖼𝗒 𝖯𝖺𝗋𝗂𝗌𝗁–𝖢𝗈𝗆𝗆𝗂𝗌𝗌𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝗈𝗇 𝖸𝗈𝗎𝗍𝗁 extends its prayerful congratulations to 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐀. Bishop Vaquilar was appointed by 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐨 𝐗𝐈𝐕 on May 3, 2026, succeeding Most Rev. Jacinto A. Jose, D.D.

May the Holy Spirit continue to fill Your Excellency with wisdom, courage, and pastoral charity as you faithfully begin shepherding the people of God in the Diocese of Urdaneta. May the Lord bless your episcopal ministry with abundant grace, peace, and fruitfulness.

The 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 – 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 cordially extends its heartfelt congratulations to 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐕𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫, 𝐃.𝐃., 𝐒.𝐓𝐡.𝐃, for his Episcopal Ordination on July 21, 2026, at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Nuestra Señora de la Caridad in Bantay, Ilocos Sur.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment, faithful service, and joyful heart in the youth ministry.

𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙, 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚; this is what Rev. Fr. Dionisio B. Luzano taught us during the 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Lord is with us all the time.

"𝘕𝘶 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘨𝘥𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯 𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘰, 𝘢𝘥𝘶 [𝘪𝘵𝘪] 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘮 𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘪 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘢 𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘺𝘢𝘮, 𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘱 𝘯𝘪 𝘈𝘱𝘰 𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘯𝘢 𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘢, 𝘢𝘨 𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘰; 𝘪𝘬𝘬𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘪𝘵𝘪 𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘢," Fr. Luzano emphasized.

Being prideful will not help you, yet it is important to ask for help, especially from Jesus, who will help us rest when things become harder.

He then expressed how powerful prayer is. Through prayer, we can share our thoughts and ask God for help, which can lighten our burden.

We always have problems throughout our journey, so we must be with Jesus. It is also important to call him whenever our lives become hard.
