As we open this day, and join the liturgical mass, the Divine Mercy Parish - Commission on Youth would like to greet all of the mothers that are viewing this post right now.

Let us also not forget to pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary, who said โ€œyesโ€ that became the mother of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Moreover, the DMP - COY also celebrates the achievement of a leader that was chosen by the Good Shepherd to lead our ministry.

Kuya Lean, we witnessed your hardwork, sacrifices, and determination to achieve this biggest milestone of your life while balancing your time at work, life, and your duty to keep our organization together. And you deserve all the blessings you are receiving from Him.

As we observe Good Shepherd Sunday this April 26, 2026, Fr. Luzano, in his homily, reflected on the loving and faithful nature of the Good Shepherd. He reminded us that Jesus, our Shepherd, deeply loves His sheep, and we are among them; this love is most clearly shown through His sacrifice on the cross.

He further emphasized that Jesus continues to guide us each day, even when we choose paths that lead us into valleys of doubt, fear, and struggle. Yet, He never allows us to wander aimlessly, for He walks before us, gently leading us toward truth, goodness, and holiness. When we listen to His voice, we discover direction, purpose, and a lasting sense of peace.

Moreover, as Fr. Diony highlighted, the Good Shepherd tirelessly seeks out His lost sheep. He does not forget or replace the one who strays; instead, He goes out in search of it, revealing the heart of Christโ€”patient, merciful, and relentless in love. No matter how far we wander, He continually calls us back to His care, where hope remains and a path home is always waiting, for our Shepherd never gives up on His sheep.
