𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗲; 𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Everyday things seem harmless. But if these “harmless” objects or aspects become our center and not Christ, then the enemy already removed our foundation. We are commanded to make Him alone be our center, nothing else.

“𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝘀. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.”

The reason why we are called to be compassionate and merciful is because Jesus did it for us first. If we are commanded to be more like Him, then we should show the same love that He did and is still showing to us today.
