Kiaora whanau, It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beautiful mama Margaret Elers who passed away peacefully surrounded by whanau early this morning.

Mum will be laying at 162 High Street, Masterton from today, 25/5/26 from 4:30pm, for those who wish to come and pay their respects.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday 28th May at 11am at Rosewood Funeral Home.

Thank you to everyone for the love, support, prayers, and kindness shown to our family during this difficult time.

It’s time to RISE UP in UNITY

Let’s come together to cover our valley in prayer. 🙏 Claim back what the enemy has stolen !!

As we have done in the past two years, the Wairarapa Pastors and Leaders network have committed to spending a week in 24-7 prayer in the lead-up to Pentecost on 24th May. We want to strongly encourage people from all churches to be part of this great initiative as we seek the Lord together in unity.

Here are the details:

Why 24-7 prayer?
We have partnered with 24-7 Prayer NZ for three years to be part of this global mobilisation of prayer across God's world. The movement seeks to revive the church and rewire the culture through non-stop day and night prayer.

When does 24-7 Wairarapa prayer go from? We will be opening a dedicated prayer room from Sunday, 17th May (7pm) to Sunday, 24th May (7am).

Where is 24-7 Wairarapa prayer this year?
A dedicated prayer room is being set up at Equippers Church (Akura Rd).
You can access the room from the northern entrance to Equippers - the door is immediately on the right-hand side up some stairs as you enter the northern entranceway.

How can I be part of 24-7 Wairarapa prayer this year?
A prayer room calendar with 1-hour slots has been set up here: https://signup.24-7prayer.com/signup/5d1d56

You can sign up to be present on site for 1 hour or multiple hours - it's up to you!
