𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦: 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗?

This week, we were reminded that holiness goes beyond outward appearance. It begins within us and is reflected in our thoughts, words, attitudes, and the way we treat others.
The world may pressure us to fit in, but God has called us to be set apart. As we surrender to His Spirit, we allow Him to renew our minds, transform our hearts, and shape us to become more like Christ.
Are we simply looking like Christians, or are we truly becoming more like Christ?

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗨𝗦! 🔥

The same Holy Ghost that was poured out on the Day of Pentecost is still being poured out today!
We were reminded that it is not enough to simply know about Jesus. We must have His Spirit dwelling within us. Through repentance, faith, and a heart that desires Him, we can receive the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.
What a powerful time in God’s presence! We rejoice and give God all the glory as TWO young people received the Holy Ghost for the very first time! 🙌

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃: 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 🧠⚔️

This week at Youth, Sis. Lisa Lemon reminded us that the battle often begins in the mind.
The lies we believe can become strongholds, but God’s truth has the power to set us free. Through His Word, prayer, praise, and worship, we can reject the lies of the enemy and choose His voice instead.

Whose voice will you believe?

At youth, we reflected on peace and pride. We were reminded to trust Jesus with our worries and keep Him at the centre of our lives.

True peace carries us through uncertainty and helps us stand for what is right with love. Humility teaches us to receive correction, seek God’s approval and surrender our plans to His will.

Grateful to keep learning and growing in His Word together! ❤️

Pray. Get in the Word. Renew your mind. Keep your eyes on Jesus. 🤍

Our circumstances may not change overnight, but God can change the way we see them.
