Sermon: Qase Pisinieli Manakilagi
Date: 6th September 2026

Title: DARE TO BE LIKE DAVID!

For this week's Sunday Service, Qase Pisi focused on the story of David and Goliath, found in the book of 1 Samuel chapter 17.

Three main points that was preached today are:

Firstly, Living the life of obedience.
- As we read through David’s story, it showed that David’s obedience changed the atmosphere in the battlefield
- Obedience is better than sacrifice!
- Linking David’s story to our lives, when we obey God, strength and power is given to us so that we are able to chase Goliath (the mountains) that we have.
- Many of us have the call from God but we need to live the life of obedience.
- Be obedient in small things and when bigger problems come your way you will be able to take it down easily.

Secondly, The love that redeems.
- Jesse was a father who cared deeply for his sons. After 40 days and 40 nights of not hearing anything from the battle field, he sent - David to the battle fields.
- Verse 17 and 18 stated that David took some thing with him and one of these things was roasted grains
- The roasted grains represented the Grace of God
- David also took cheese to the commander which represents the Favour of God, meaning for the commander to allow David to enter the battlefield.
- Back in chapter 16, David was anointed with oil by Samuel, which means he is the favour of God.

Main points:
1. Whatever war ground or battlefield you are in God is there with you always
2. God's love will extend to whatever situation you are going through
3. When God anoints you, you are in his favour.
4. You cannot borrow the anointing of God; you need to look for it!

Thirdly, David remembers.
- In the battlefield, when David saw Goliath he saw the lion, the bear, and all the good things God has done in his life
- When God opens a door in your life he will take you through.
- All that David had gone through he wrote Psalms 23, which describes all what God had done in his life.

REMEMBER! DO NOT GIVE UP ON GOD! DO NOT EVER GIVE UP, KEEP GOING! IF YOU GIVE UP YOU ARE LETTING GOLIATH WIN. OUR GOD IS GREATER AND MIGHTIER.

Psalm 122:1: "I rejoiced with those who said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the Lord.'

"The answers we seek are found in community, not in isolation. It is so important to gather together to worship, share testimonies, and grow in faith. Join us this Sunday at 2pm and bring the whole family".

All are Welcome !!!

Sermon: Talatala Jese Qaraniqio
Date: 30th August 2026

Topic: The cost and reward of carrying Gods Glory!

- God allow things to happen in our lives so we can share His goodness. It is good to share testimonies with your fellow church members to encourage one another. This brings unity in the church.

There is a cost and a reward for following Christ:

The cost:
1. Deny yourself!
- when we come to serve Christ it is no more I or You but Christ alone.
- It is a complete turn around, surrendering yourself to say yes

2. You will lose a lot of friends!
- you are the carrier of the light.
- You cannot seek glory from somewhere else but only from God and when you serve Christ you cannot be pleasing others.

The reward:
1. *ETERNAL LIFE*

Lesson learnt:
* The life of Moses encourages us that prayer should be a priority in our life
* The presence of God can only come into your life when you spend time with Him
* We must Honour Gods time in the morning
* Great things will happen when there is unity in prayer.

Title: Spiritual Warfare

We are fighting a war against Satan and it’s important to know who you are and that God has given you the authority and power to stop darkness.

The church has been the authority and the power to fight the enemy, and prayer is the number one tool to defeat it.

The principle of agreement!
⁃ The principle of binding and losing is up to us. The place of agreement is the place of power!
⁃ In 2 Corinthians 10: 4-6- God has given us the weapon. We should activate His authority so that God can use His ability.
⁃ Ephesians 4: 29- Don’t give the devil a chance to take you down! The devil loves weak people! Your attitude is giving an advantage to the enemy!

As believers, we must have a Christ like mind! Jesus wants to see Faith when he comes back. Heaven qualifies you when no one else can. We need to take back what the enemy has taken from us as believers, as Christian’s!
