It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the Hororātā Parish Spring Fair yesterday!

Once again, the Hororātā Domain worked its magic! The shelter of the magnificent trees planted by earlier generations of our community made all the difference. A little rearranging of the stalls kept everyone sheltered, with many loving the new layout!

Children enjoyed the free bouncy castles and bungy trampoline, thanks to Selwyn District Council.

Days like this don't happen without volunteers giving their time. A huge thank you to everyone who helped, donated items, and to the stallholders and visitors who stuck with us as we adapted plans around the weather.

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Hororātā Parish Spring Fair tomorrow, Labour Day, Monday 26 October!

A quick note on parking – please park in the centre of the Hororātā Domain. Entry is through gate closest to the roundabout. This is the closest parking to the Fair and the safest option for everyone.

Please do not park on the road.

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Hororātā Parish Spring Fair tomorrow!

There's plenty of chatter about the wind forecast, so we wanted to put things into perspective.

We're expecting a moderate breeze in the morning, picking up around lunchtime, with the stronger gale-force winds forecast for after the Fair finishes.

The Hororātā Domain is also well sheltered by trees, so we're looking forward to a great day!

Monday 26 October | 9.30am – 2pm
FREE ENTRY. Note if the wind picks up earlier than forecast we may end the event before 2pm.

Come along, support the Fair and enjoy a great country day out!

Plus train rides, pony rides, mini golf, face painting and more for a small fee.

You never know what you'll find at the Hororātā Parish Spring Fair! With over 50 stalls this year, there's plenty to browse through! From plants and homemade goodies to gifts, crafts and all sorts of treasures.

And of course, no Parish Fair would be complete without the Country Auction and White Elephant sale! Always worth a good rummage to see what you can find.
Country Auction starts at 11.30am!
