Te Waiora House Te Waiora House is a peaceful Christian retreat in Canterbury, offering restful accommodation, a chapel, and tranquil surroundings.

It’s a space for reflection, prayer, and connection with God, ideal for individuals, families, or groups. Te Waiora means "Living Water." Our vision is to provide a peaceful and hospitable place where guests, individually or as a group, can be rested, refreshed and renewed. Te Waiora House is a Christian Retreat Centre, situtated in Hororata, near Canterbury’s foothills, providing a facility able

to be used by up to 30 guests, overnight accommodation for up to 10 guests, and includes a large lounge, a library, kitchen, chapel and spacious grounds.

We would love to introduce you (from left to right) to Carron, Oreen and Bereel.

These three now carry the torch as Retreat Coordinators for Te Waiora House. In this role, they will lead retreats in areas they feel called to, while also working alongside spiritual directors and group leaders to help facilitate their time at the house. We're very excited and grateful to God to have the three of them involved and living on site!
