Our Pentecostal core emphasizes living a victorious and impactful life in today’s world through a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is built on an Orthodox foundation that is focused on understanding and applying the fundamental tenets of Christianity. The (Pentecostal) Power represents our empowerment through the Holy Spirit to “have dominion”, witness the Gospel and express God’s
love and power in a practical manner within our generation. We believe in the infilling of the Holy Spirit, the laying of hands and the manifestation of the Gifts of the Spirit to the profit of the body of Christ. The (Orthodox) Traditional roots are expressed in our core values (love, family and simplicity) and the mode of our services and worship. HTL is an environment of reverence and sincerity, with a focus on staying connected with God and simply worshipping Him in Spirit and in Truth. Both elements of who we are (Pentecostal and Orthodox) are integral to the mandate we have been given and provide an environment to nurture God’s people with the best of both worlds, so we can become all He has called us to be in every facet of life.
