Since 2008, we have pioneered expeditions to the Scorpion Atoll, successfully executing over 50 specialized trips to this unique destination.

Official Statement on Scorpion Atoll Operations:
Please be advised that our Scorpion Atoll program is currently on hold. The decision to pause operations is due to the increasing complexity of maritime logistics and our commitment to maintaining strict compliance with all evolving federal laws and environmental regulations governing this protected destination.

Clarification on Market Confusion:
It has come to our attention that "a new" outfitter is attempting to utilize similar naming conventions to capitalize on our established legacy.
• Tarpon Town has no affiliation, partnership, or association with any other business using a similar name to offer trips to Scorpion Atoll.
• We do not support or endorse these entities, and we urge anglers to exercise caution and avoid confusion.
• Our reputation for safety and quality is unmatched, and it belongs solely to our founding team.

Looking Forward:
We understand the excitement surrounding this destination, and we assure you that the community will be the first to know when our new live-aboard program is officially ready for launch. Things are coming together for Scorpion Atoll in 2024. We will resume our week long excursions for the biggest bones and permits in Mexican waters. Just a few spots open per year. Program will have a slight change in boat and occupancy for more exclusivity and logistics versatility. Line up for 2024 or 2025. Trips schedules will be displayed soon. Another great trip to the Scorpion Atoll. Always an expedition with its own challenges for avid anglers. Bones ranging from 20 to 25 inches (the ones that got away were bigger of course), shots to large permit, triggers, reef jacks, fun and joyful camaraderie. Thanks David, Steve, John, the Other Steve, Peter and Frank for joining us. Looking forward for another trip.
