“The Greatness of the Dream” What I Will Be When I Grow Up!!!!
*Forming the Seed of God: A Decade-Long Challenge for Children*
_The Great Celebration Launches a 2026-2036 Plan to Prepare New Generations in the Word.
Children's education is not just a pedagogical task. It is a spiritual mandate. The Bible makes this clear from the Old Testament to the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ: childhood occupies a central place in God's heart.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” [Proverbs 22:6]. “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” [Mark 10:14]. “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man” [Luke 2:52].
These passages are not isolated verses. They are a model of holistic formation: knowledge, character, and commitment to the Creator. The synagogue was the school of the child Jesus. There he grew in the duty to proclaim the word of the Father. This same vision is what every family, every church, and society as a whole should embrace today.
*The Challenge Facing Children*
However, current reality reveals a disconnect. Neither teachers, nor parents, nor society in general prioritize children knowing God, understanding Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, and embracing the vocation of faith.
The Gospel reminds us that Christ came to save humanity and redeem it through his loving work, so that one day we may stand before the Most High.
Therefore, churches face an urgent challenge: to work more with children, to let them come to the Father, to prepare them because they will be the ones who continue evangelization tomorrow. Is there anyone else who can do it? No, it will be their duty!
What is being proposed is not an easy task. It requires sacrifice from teachers, pastors, leaders, and planning teams, and above all, from those who want to financially support with what God has blessed them with so that the Church may grow.
*The Great Celebration: 25 Years of Service and a New Vision*
For over 25 years, the *Great Celebration* team has been dedicated to recognizing and strengthening the extraordinary work of adults in ministry. Today, the vision received from God focuses on what is most precious to Him: children.
Therefore, they present the *2026-2036 Plan: A First Decade Dedicated to Children*. The goal is to influence their development now, so that at the end of this period, when they are young adults committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, they will passionately embrace this vision for life.
This is not about limiting the work to ten years. It is a first step so that, at the beginning of the next decade, others will take up the mantle.
“We must look to the future and accelerate our efforts,” the project states. The plan seeks to involve the leaders who work with children today immediately, so that when these children reach adolescence or adulthood, they will be ready to prepare those who come after them.
*An Invitation to Be an Ally of the Kingdom*
The Great Feast extends its call to pastors, church leaders, and businesspeople committed to investing in the Lord's plans. It is an innovative initiative that aims to prepare God's seed for future generations.
The plan formally begins in 2026. The goal is to bring more and more children from churches to the Lord, engaging them so that, in time, they will be the ones to continue the vision.
If you have seen the work of The Great Feast and are interested in collaborating, now is the time to join. The larger the team, the lighter the burden.
*“But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these’” [Matthew 19:14].*
