Following the call for national prayers by His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, President of the Republic of Malawi, the Chiole Synod of Zambezi Evangelical Church joins in prayer for good rains and an end to the dry spells being experienced in some parts of the country.

In this regard, all our congregations are encouraged to observe special prayers on Sunday, 8th February 2026, keeping this matter in mind during worship services.

Let us unite as one family of faith, humbly seeking Godโ€™s intervention and blessings upon our land.

2025โ€“2030 CHIOLE SYNOD STRATEGIC PLAN

The Strategic Planning and Resource Mobilization Committee of the Zambezi Evangelical Church under Chiole Synod has finalized the development of the Synodโ€™s first-ever 5-year Strategic Plan, covering the period from 2025 to 2030.

The committee is scheduled to officially present the document to Synod Management today, 23rd December 2025, during the End-of-Year Central Council Meeting taking place at Chiole, Ntcheu.

The Strategic Plan is expected to guide the Synod Management in strengthening its ministries, enhancing resource mobilization, and fostering church development and growth.
