Exodus 20
He is my God
And God spoke all these words:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.

God proclaims, "I am the LORD your God," establishing a covenant relationship with His people. God identifies Himself as the one "who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery," showing that salvation precedes obedience.

We must understand that Salvation is a gift of grace, and holy living is a response of gratitude, not a way to earn love.

God freely saved Israel. Therefore He calls them to serve Him and must understand that they have no other God but Him alone.

Egypt and the "house of slavery" represent more than a historical place. In spiritual terms, they symbolize captivity to sin, fear, addiction, and brokenness.
Do you remember how Lost you were before Christ saved you?
Think about God's goodness and mercy. Surely there is no God like our God. Remember your Egypt, remember the salvific grace

Today kneel down and thank God for saving you from your Egypt.
Commit yourself to worship Him alone.

The beauty of eternity Romans 8:18: "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us"

Keeping an "eternal perspective" protects your heart from despair. It reminds you that the worst days on earth are merely a brief introduction to an endless story of peace.

Whatever suffering you are going through, always stay focused on eternity. Don't lose focus. The devil must not cheat you to believe otherwise.

Heaven is waiting for you. Endure suffering and all pain because God is preparing you for eternity

Let Love Reign
Matthew 22:37-39
New International Version
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

1. Why must you love your neighbor just like yourself?
2. How does love for people reflect God's love?
3. Can you analyze the statement, "your friend's enemy is your enemy too?
We must understand that you cannot give what you do not have. This verse implies that you must first accept God's unconditional love for you, which allows you to love yourself wholesomely. Only then can that same divine love overflow out of you toward other people.

This commandment teaches that we are all spiritually interconnected. When you help someone else, you heal a piece of the world; when you hurt someone else, you hurt yourself.

LET LOVE REIGN!

Proverbs 30
24 “Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise:
25 Ants are creatures of little strength,
yet they store up their food in the summer;
1. How prepared are you for your old age?
2. How prepared are you for your eternity?
3. What lessons do you learn from these tiny animals?
4. Why is it important for us to know for sure about our eternity?
5. Supposed there is drought next year, how prepared are you for it?

Preparation is very Over Brute Force. Ants may be tiny and physically weak, but they possess the intelligence to prepare for the future.

We must learn to seize the Right Season and opportunity by gathering resources during the season of abundance. Ants survive the harsh winter. It serves as a metaphor for using one's time, energy, and resources wisely while the opportunity is available.

To those of us that are still young and strong we must be prepared for old age. Old age without resources and investments is hard and painful.
Spiritually let's get prepared for the second coming of the Lord Jesus. Stop leaving in sin.

REPENT!

The Wise and Foolish Builders
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
TRY THESE QUESTIONS BEFORE READING THE NOTES
1. How strong is your foundation of your faith?
2. What weakens our faith?
3. What do you think the rain stands for?
4. What do you think are the things that can strengthen your faith?
5. If you look at this passage, where do you put yourself, strong foundation or weak? Why?
6. What is Jesus Christ emphasizing in this passage? v24-25
7. What do you think digging deeper stands for?
The foolish builder represents someone with superficial faith. They may go to church or read scripture, but their inner life remains unchanged.

The wise builder demonstrates active faith. True spiritual maturity requires transforming divine instruction into daily habits, choices, and actions.

However, there is a Universal Testing here. Notice that the storm hits both houses equally. Being a believer does not exempt a person from suffering, grief, or financial hardship.

Spiritually, the storm also symbolizes the final judgment of God. A life built on human effort, pride, or shifting worldly philosophies will collapse under divine scrutiny.

Digging deep represents the hidden spiritual work that no one else sees. This includes private prayer, repentance, humility, and weeding out secret sins.

Blessed are they who dig deeper in the word of God and put their trust in the as they build their faith. Faith grows by doing what we learn from scriptures. Are you putting into practice what you hear from the Lord or you are good at listening and leave it there?

Finally, get it right children of God:
The Wise Builder: Represents anyone who hears Jesus' teachings and puts them into practice. This life is compared to building a house deep down on a solid rock; it survives the harshest storms.

The Foolish Builder: Represents those who hear Jesus' words but do not act on them. This is compared to building a house on sand; when trials and storms hit, the house collapses with a great crash.
