Jeremiah 13
New International Version
A Linen Belt
13 This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy a linen belt and put it around your waist, but do not let it touch water.” 2 So I bought a belt, as the Lord directed, and put it around my waist.

3 Then the word of the Lord came to me a second time: 4 “Take the belt you bought and are wearing around your waist, and go now to Perath[a] and hide it there in a crevice in the rocks.” 5 So I went and hid it at Perath, as the Lord told me.

6 Many days later the Lord said to me, “Go now to Perath and get the belt I told you to hide there.” 7 So I went to Perath and dug up the belt and took it from the place where I had hidden it, but now it was ruined and completely useless.

We must Cling to God. A loincloth is worn directly against the skin. God designed humanity to cling to Him just as tightly, living in constant, personal fellowship with Him.
Linen was the fabric worn by priests. It represents holiness, purity, and a life set apart for God's glory.

This is how we ought to be. Our relationship must be tightly close to God and must be inseparable.

God bless you always Church. How close are you to your creator? How strong is your relationship with God? Check it out because it's very important

The greatest Invitation Isaiah 55
Invitation to the Thirsty
1 “Come, all you who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
and you who have no money, come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and you will delight in the richest of fare.

God does not just offer survival; He offers abundance. The three liquids mentioned carry deep spiritual weight:
*Water* : Represents cleansing, life, and refreshment for a weary, dried-up soul.
*Wine* : Symbolizes joy, celebration, and the richness of life found in a relationship with the Divine. *Milk* : Symbolizes sustained nourishment and growth, representing foundational truths that strengthen your spirit.

Are you looking for true satisfaction, then listen to this invitation and take a bold step and meet with God.

Let God satisfy you always

Jeremiah 32:27
“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Genesis 18:14: The same question is asked when God promises Abraham and Sarah a child in their old age even though they are very old.

What are you trusting the Lord to do for you?

God asks this direct, rhetorical question to show His unlimited power over all people and situations.

God has all power. No problem or event is too big for God to fix. Faith can be difficult to hold on to in the looks of impossible. The verses remind us to trust God when things look hopeless to humans.

KEEP ON PRAYING AND TRUSTING GOD BECAUSE NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR HIM

2 Samuel 20
New International Version
Sheba Rebels Against David
20 Now a troublemaker named Sheba son of Bikri, a Benjamite, happened to be there. He sounded the trumpet and shouted,

“We have no share in David,
no part in Jesse’s son!
Every man to his tent, Israel!”

2 So all the men of Israel deserted David to follow Sheba son of Bikri. But the men of Judah stayed by their king all the way from the Jordan to Jerusalem.

Sheba represents the spirit of division and discord. In a believer's life, the enemy often waits for moments of vulnerability, hurt, or misunderstanding to blow a "trumpet" of offense. It is a warning to guard your heart against voices that tempt you to fracture relationships or walk away from your community when things get tense.

Some of us have had such experiences in life. You are abandoned and left alone. This scenario also tells us about our character. This challenges us to consider who we "cling" to when a crisis hits—do we follow the crowd into rebellion, or do we stay anchored to truth?

If you have friends that stay on with you at all times please keep them because such people are rare.

Jesus Christ is the friend that never leaves us. He is always there for us, at all times.

What blessed people we are.

Always run to him!

1 Samuel 14

36 Saul said, “Let us go down and pursue the Philistines by night and plunder them till dawn, and let us not leave one of them alive.”

“Do whatever seems best to you,” they replied.

But the priest said, “Let us inquire of God here.”

37 So Saul asked God, “Shall I go down and pursue the Philistines? Will you give them into Israel’s hand?” But God did not answer him that day.

38 Saul therefore said, “Come here, all you who are leaders of the army, and let us find out what sin has been committed today. 39 As surely as the Lord who rescues Israel lives, even if the guilt lies with my son Jonathan, he must die.” But not one of them said a word.

1. Has God ever been silent to your prayers?
2. What do you do when God is silent?
3. In this passage what do you think is the cause for God's being silent?
4. How important is self examination whenever God seems to be silent?
Unresolved Sin Blocks Prayer. God refuses to guide a mission when the community or its leadership is compromised. Sovereignty must be held up higher Over Strategy. God will not be used as a rubber stamp for human military or personal ambitions. We must adhere to a Call to Pause. Divine silence forces a sudden halt to human striving, demanding immediate self-examination. It is the self examination that leads to understanding God's will. Our stand with God is the most important thing over everything.
