Let Us Keep Growing

Theme Scripture:
“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” — 2 Peter 3:18

“Empa le hole mohaung le tsebong ea Morena le Mopholosi oa rona Jesu Kreste.”

Devotional Message

Following Christ is not a destination—it is a lifelong journey of growth.

We should never become satisfied with yesterday's spiritual experience.

There is always more to learn.
More to surrender.
More to love.
More to serve.
More to become.

God wants us to grow not only in knowledge, but also in character, faith, love and obedience.

As individuals and as a church family, let us continue growing together.

A growing Christian becomes a blessing to others. A growing church becomes a greater instrument in God's hands.

Let us therefore enter the coming week determined to grow deeper in Christ and stronger in our calling.

Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, help me to grow daily in Your grace and knowledge. Shape my character, strengthen my faith and make me more useful for Your Kingdom. May our church continue to grow spiritually, united in love and committed to Your mission. Amen.”

Reflection:
In what area of my walk with Christ is God calling me to grow?

Encourage One Another

Theme Scripture:
“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another…” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

“Ka hona khothatsanang, le beane…”

Devotional Message

Everyone carries battles that we may not see.

That is why encouragement matters.

A simple message.
A prayer.
A kind word.
A listening ear.
A reminder that someone is not alone.

These simple things can make a great difference.

As God's people, we are called not only to receive encouragement but also to give it.

Let us build one another up rather than tear one another down.

Be the reason someone finds strength to keep going today.

Prayer:
“Lord, make me an encourager. Help me to notice those who are struggling and give me wisdom to speak words that bring hope, strength and courage. Amen.”

Reflection:
Who needs encouragement from me today?

📖 FRIDAY • 4th SEPTEMBER 2026

Be Faithful in Little Things

Theme Scripture:
“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much…” — Luke 16:10

“Ea tšepahalang nthong e nyenyane , o tšepahala le nthong e kholo…”

Devotional Message

Great things often begin with small acts of faithfulness.

God sees the things people may never notice:

- The prayer offered quietly.
- The person encouraged privately.
- The task completed faithfully.
- The servant who continues without recognition.

Never underestimate small acts done with a faithful heart.

God is not only interested in the size of what we do, but in the faithfulness with which we do it.

Be faithful where you are, with what you have, and with what God has entrusted to you.

Prayer:
“Lord, make me faithful in every responsibility You have given me. Help me not to despise small beginnings or unnoticed service. May I honour You in everything I do. Amen.”

Reflection:
Am I being faithful with what God has already placed in my hands?

Be a Light

Theme Scripture:
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father…” — Matthew 5:16

“Leseli la lona le ke le khanye joalo pela batho, ba tle ba bone mesebetsi ea lona e molemo, ba tlotlise Ntat’a lona…”

Devotional Message

The world does not only need to hear about Christ—it needs to see Christ through our lives.

Our words matter, but so do our actions.

A kind word can restore hope.
A helping hand can bring relief.
A prayer can strengthen someone.
An act of love can point someone towards God.

Wherever God has placed you, be a light.

Do not wait for a platform to make a difference. Sometimes the greatest ministry happens through simple acts of love.

Prayer:
“Lord, let Your light shine through my life. Help me to represent Christ faithfully through my words, actions and relationships. May everything I do point others towards You. Amen.”

Reflection:
Who can experience God's love through me today?

Seek God First

Theme Scripture:
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” — Matthew 6:33

“Empa batlang ’muso oa Molimo pele le ho loka ha oona; ’me lintho tsena tsohle le tla li ekeletsoa.”

Devotional Message

Life can easily become busy with responsibilities, plans and ambitions.

But Jesus reminds us of what must remain our first priority: God and His Kingdom.

When God comes first, everything else finds its proper place.

Let us not pursue blessings while forgetting the One who blesses us.

Let us not build our lives without building our relationship with God.

Seek Him first, and allow everything else to follow His will.

Prayer:
“Lord, help me to put You first in every area of my life. May my plans, decisions, work and relationships reflect Your Kingdom and bring glory to Your name. Amen.”

Reflection:
What needs to change so that God truly remains first in my life?

Trust the Lord

Theme Scripture:
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

“Tšepa Jehova ka pelo ea hau eohle, u se ke ua itšetleha ka kutloisiso ea hau.”

Devotional Message

We do not always understand what God is doing, but we can always trust who God is.

There will be moments when the road ahead is unclear and the answers seem distant.

But faith does not require us to know everything. It requires us to trust God one step at a time.

Give Him your plans, your concerns and your unanswered questions.

When we trust God, we can walk in peace even when we cannot see the whole picture.

Prayer:
“Father, teach me to trust You completely. When I do not understand, help me to remain faithful. Guide my steps and help me to depend on Your wisdom rather than my own. Amen.”

Reflection:
What am I carrying today that I need to surrender completely to God?

🎀🎉 HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY, OUR BELOVED SINDIE! 🎉🎀

🌸 Our Firstborn. Our Joy. Our Little Princess. Our Milestone. 🌸

“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”
— Psalm 127:3

Today, Monday, 31 August 2026, is a very special day for the entire AFM TY Lithabaneng Assembly – Calvary family as we celebrate the 4th birthday of our very own little princess, Sindisiwe “Sindie” Malachamela! 🎂👑🎈❤️

Happy 4th Birthday, Sindie! 🥳🎉

You are not simply a little girl growing up among us—you are part of our story.

When we look at your beautiful life, we are reminded of the faithfulness of God and the incredible journey He has brought our church through. You are the first child born since our church was planted in 2021, making you a very special part of the history and testimony of Calvary.

In many ways, your life represents a milestone.

Your arrival brought a special kind of joy to our church family. You became one of those beautiful reminders that as the church was growing spiritually and establishing its foundations, God was also blessing us with new life and new generations. 🌱❤️

👑 OUR LITTLE ICON

Sindie, you have become an icon of our church family in your own special way.

We have watched you grow, smile, play, learn and become increasingly familiar with the people and surroundings that have become part of your childhood.

You are loved by many.

You are cherished by many.

And today, as you turn four, we celebrate not only the little girl you are today, but also the beautiful future that God has prepared ahead of you. 🌸✨

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
— Jeremiah 29:11

🙏🏽 OUR PRAYER FOR YOU

As you enter another beautiful year of your life, our prayer is that the Lord will watch over you, protect you, guide your steps and surround you with His unfailing love.

May you grow in wisdom, grace, kindness and the knowledge of God.

May your childhood be filled with joy, laughter, love and beautiful memories.

May God preserve your health and give you strength as you grow.

And may your life one day become an even greater testimony of the goodness and faithfulness of our God.

May you grow as Jesus did:

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”
— Luke 2:52

❤️ FROM YOUR CALVARY FAMILY

To our precious Sindie:

Thank you for being such a beautiful part of our journey.

Thank you for giving us another reason to smile.

Thank you for reminding us that the church is not only building for today—it is raising and preparing generations for tomorrow.

As we celebrate your fourth birthday, we look at you with gratitude and say:

“Ebenezer! Thus far the LORD has helped us.” 🙌🏽

Your life is one of the precious milestones that reminds us of how far Calvary has come since 2021.

Today we celebrate YOU—our firstborn, our little princess, our beloved Sindie! 👑🎂💕

May you continue to grow, shine and flourish under the grace of God.

🎂🎉 HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY, SINDIE! 🎉🎂

May God bless you.
May God keep you.
May God protect you.
May God guide you.
May God grant you a beautiful future.

We love you so much, Sindie! ❤️

A New Beginning

Theme Scripture:
*“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth.”* — Isaiah 43:19

“Bonang, ke etsa ntho e ncha; joale ese e ea hlaha.”

Devotional Message

Every new week is a reminder that God gives us fresh opportunities to grow, serve and begin again.

Do not allow yesterday's failures to define today's possibilities. What is behind us has taught us, but it does not have to determine where we are going.

God is still working.
God is still shaping us.
God is still opening doors.

Step into this new week with faith, expectation and a willing heart.

What God has prepared ahead may be greater than what we have experienced before.

Prayer:
“Lord, thank You for the gift of a new beginning. Help me to leave behind what must remain behind and embrace what You are doing in my life. Give me faith to walk confidently into this new season. Amen.”

Reflection:
What new thing might God be asking me to embrace this week?
