Today, we celebrate the priceless gift of motherhood and honor every woman God has chosen to nurture, guide, protect, and love with grace and strength.

Our Mother’s Day message was centered on the theme: “A Chosen Mother by God” from Proverbs 31:10-31.

A godly mother is more than a caretaker — she is a builder of homes, a teacher of wisdom, a woman of faith, and a vessel through whom God demonstrates His love and compassion. Proverbs 31 reminds us that a virtuous woman is clothed with strength and dignity, speaks with wisdom, and fears the Lord.

To every mother, grandmother, guardian, and mother figure: thank you for your sacrifices, prayers, encouragement, and unwavering love. Your impact reaches beyond your homes and into generations.

“Her children arise and call her blessed…” — Proverbs 31:28

Happy Mother’s Day to all the chosen mothers God has entrusted with such a beautiful calling. May the Lord continue to strengthen, honor, and bless you abundantly.

Mother’s Day is a special time to honor and appreciate the love, sacrifice, prayers, and strength of mothers. A mother is more than a caregiver she is a nurturer, teacher, encourager, and a blessing from God to her family and community.

This Sunday we celebrate with our mothers and our theme, “A Chosen Mother By God,” reminds us that motherhood is a divine calling. God chooses mothers to raise generations with wisdom, faith, love, and purpose. Through their care and dedication, lives are shaped and destinies are impacted.

SUNDAY THEME: LESSONS ON GIVING
Text: II Corinthians 8:8–15

As we step into this new month, we are not only called to give—but to give with purpose, understanding, and impact. This season, our focus extends beyond offerings; it is about building lives, strengthening families, and advancing women empowerment within the body of Christ.

1. Let Your Giving Be Motivated by Love (v.8)
True empowerment begins with love. When love is the foundation, giving becomes intentional—not forced. Through love-driven giving, we create opportunities for women to grow, lead, and thrive within both the church and community.

2. Let Your Giving Lift Others Up (v.9)
Christ gave sacrificially so others could rise. In the same way, our giving should empower—supporting women with resources, mentorship, and spiritual covering to stand in dignity and purpose.

3. Give According to What God Has Blessed You With (v.12)
Empowerment is not about equal amounts, but equal willingness. Every contribution—time, resources, skills—creates space for transformation. God values the heart behind the gift, and through that, lives are impacted.

4. Why We Give in God’s House
Our giving sustains and advances the mission:
• To support pastors and church workers who labor faithfully
• To maintain and develop the House of God as a center of hope
• To expand the mission—reaching communities and empowering women for impact

OUR COMMITMENT THIS MONTH
We are intentionally building:
✔ Women who are spiritually grounded, economically aware, and purpose-driven
✔ A church community that gives not just to survive—but to transform lives

Be a blessing. Empower a life. Strengthen a future.

Together, we are not just giving—we are raising a generation of empowered women.

Today, with heavy hearts, we gather to lay to rest a man whose life spoke louder than words ever could — Pastor David M. Kollie.

He was more than a pastor. He was a brother, a mentor, a servant, and a friend to many. His dedication to the work of God was evident in every life he touched, every word he spoke, and every sacrifice he made.

From his faithful service at Monrovia Christian Fellowship, where he poured himself into both the church and the school, to his continued labor at Paynesville Christian Fellowship, Pastor Kollie remained steadfast, committed, and unwavering in his calling. He did not just preach the Gospel — he lived it.

Today, we do not only mourn his passing; we honor a life well spent in service to God and humanity. We celebrate the impact he made, the seeds he planted, and the legacy he leaves behind — a legacy of humility, faith, and love.

Though our hearts are burdened with grief, we find comfort in knowing that his labor was not in vain. His voice may be silent, but his works will continue to speak for generations to come.

Your assignment on earth is complete.
Your crown awaits you.
