For the first Sunday of August, the church received a timely and powerful word on “Do Not Die Before Your Time,” ministered by Rev. Joe Mwangi, from Psalm 91:16. We were reminded that God has ordained us to fulfill our days and that our lives are in His hands. Through the life of Jesus, we saw that even when people sought to kill Him, His appointed time had not yet come. We were challenged to honour God, walk wisely, fear Him, and refuse to live recklessly. We are not called to die prematurely; we are called to fulfill our God-given assignment.

In Bible Study, we continued our journey through 1 Peter 3:15–16, learning to revere Christ as Lord in our hearts and always be ready to give an answer for the hope within us. We were reminded that our witness must be marked by gentleness, respect and a clear conscience, so that even those who speak against us will ultimately have no legitimate accusation.

A powerful Sunday of learning, conviction and encouragement: live wisely, stand firmly in Christ, and fulfill your days! 🙏🏽🔥

This week, we were blessed to see our teens take the lead in ministry! 🎶💃🏽🎤📖 We are grateful for the growth we are witnessing in our Teens Ministry and for a generation that is discovering its place in the Kingdom of God.

During Bible Study, Master Andrew reminded us of a powerful truth of Redemptive Power from the story of the Prodigal Son: we must remember who we are and work as sons in our Father’s house—not as slaves. The elder son had been working faithfully, yet lamented, “I have been slaving for you.” May we never serve God without enjoying our identity, inheritance and relationship with the Father. When we err, or go astray, may God help us to return to the Stronghold, to Him, He is our Father.

In the Celebration Service, Ashley challenged us to recognise the immense value of the Kingdom of God. It is like a treasure hidden in a field—worth selling everything to acquire. It is like a net cast into the sea, gathering all kinds of fish. The question is: When the net is drawn to shore, where will we stand?

⏳ Time is short. We have only the brief moment between the deep sea and the shore. Let us live ready, purposeful and fully surrendered to God. May we be among the good, not the bad that is cast away into the fiery furnace.

Our teens ministered through songs, dance, spoken word and narrations, bringing glory to God and reminding us that the next generation is not merely the church of tomorrow—they are servants and ministers in the Kingdom today!

🙏🏽 We celebrate our teens. We believe in them. We are raising a generation rooted in Christ, relevant to their generation and released for Kingdom impact.

What a glorious Sunday in God's presence at Deliverance Church International, Umoja Lanet!

We began with our 9:00 a.m. prayer service, led by Pst. Mary Joe Mary Mwangi, declaring victory over every spirit of limitation and every contending voice, just as David overcame the words of Saul. We broke barriers that limit destinies, finances, education, and purpose, declaring our breakthrough in Jesus' Name.

Our Bible Study continued in **1 Peter 3:14**, reminding us not to fear intimidation but to stand firm in Christ, echoing **Isaiah 8:12** and **Isaiah 41:10–14**. Sister Stacy programmed the service.

The DCUL Praise Team ushered us into God's presence, followed by a powerful message on **forgiveness** by Rev Joe Mwangi Wamuga. As we forgave those who had hurt us—whether family, friends, spouses, neighbors, or within the church—the Holy Spirit brought healing, fresh joy, and new life.

Lives were transformed, chains were broken, and hearts were renewed.

What a glorious day in the presence of the Lord!

Our day began with a powerful hour of prayer from 9:00 a.m., led by Pastor Mary Joe. Together we lifted our lives and families before God, declaring that we shall excel in every area of life. We rejected every negative word spoken against us by people in authority, decreeing that no curse shall prevail over God's children. We also declared that we shall not labour like elephants and eat like ants, but that we shall enjoy the fruit of our labour according to God's promises.

We then had a life-transforming Bible Study led by Brother Anjili on the topic "A Call to Believe, Activate and Walk in Signs and Wonders." We were reminded that Jesus has empowered every believer to walk in His authority—to pray for the sick, heal the sick, demonstrate God's power, and faithfully win souls for the Kingdom. We were challenged not merely to admire miracles but to become vessels through whom God works.

Our Celebration Service was filled with vibrant praise and heartfelt worship, as the DCUL Praise Team ushered the congregation into God's presence. Truly, all glory belongs to God!

The Word was ministered by Pastor Joe Mwangi Wamuga from 1 Samuel 17:33 under the theme "Let No One Limit You." We reflected on Saul's attempt to discourage David before he faced Goliath and discovered that many of the voices we encounter today seek to limit what God has placed within us. We examined four limitations Saul tried to impose on David: the limitation of movement, the limitation of the battle, the limitation of age, and the limitation of experience. Yet David refused to accept those limitations because his confidence was not in himself but in the God who had already given him victory over the lion and the bear. We were encouraged to reject every limiting voice and to step boldly into God's purpose, knowing that faith in God qualifies us for victories that human reasoning cannot explain.

We thank God for the testimonies shared today and rejoice that one precious soul surrendered her life to Jesus Christ. Heaven rejoices, and so do we!
