There's a worm that climbs a tree, lays its eggs, feeds its young with its own body, then dies. It knows it's going to die. It climbs anyway.

Odd way to open a post about sin, but stay with us for a moment.

Scripture tells us temptation rarely starts with the act, it starts long before, in the look, the thought, the moment we tell ourselves "I'm just thinking about it." God warned Cain that sin was crouching at the door before Cain had done anything wrong.

Lucy Mwelu unpacks why we fall, why God still sees us in the middle of it, and why the answer was never "fight harder." It was always "flee." That worm isn't a random detail either, she ties it back in a way worth reading for yourself.

Another blessed Sunday in God’s presence

Today’s message, “Praying for One Another,” reminded us of the importance of standing with one another in prayer. As a church family, we are called to carry each other’s burdens, encourage one another, and faithfully lift each other before God. 🙏

Grateful for a beautiful time of worship, fellowship, and growing together in His Word. 💛
