7th June 2026 Sunday service / Ibada ya Jumapili
Theme: God's Hunger
Apostle Stephen Gachengo commenced the service stating that Without hunger, we cannot look for food, Same to the spiritual life,
that If you don't have hunger for God, you will not look for Him. Let's hunger and thirst for God.
Jesus turned to the multitude on the mountain, telling them that "blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled."
The Lord says that the gospel we need has no cost; to have hunger and thirst for Him. God is calling us to hunger for good water.
He continued saying that For us to get spiritual waters, become a spiritual person to serve Jesus, there must be a hunger to bring me to seek Him. Many people are running a race to satisfy their flesh and not spiritual man. For you to be spiritually healthy, you need to eat good spiritual food, that will help you to grow.
Each one of us has been called to have hunger, not for the world but for God, that will make us grow.
He concluded the service encouraging the church that when we eat bad food, we become envious, we hate people, not forgive and abuse, but when we eat the right food we grow in Christ.
Jesus says that when you drink human water, you will thirst again, but when we drink His water, we will never thirst again but have everlasting life in Him, there will be no bitterness, unforgiveness. Our prayers are motivated by the waters we drink. Let's all hunger and thirst for His word, Amen
