EPOIKODOMEO PART 2: BUILD ON MYSTERIES | SUNDAY HIGHLIGHTS ✨️

“Building yourselves up…” Jude 1:20. Epoikodomeo means to build upon a foundation already laid. Christ is that foundation, and God is at work in us through His Word and His grace, yet we have a responsibility to build ourselves up. One of the ways we are built is through mysteries. 1 Corinthians 14:2 reveals that the one who speaks in tongues speaks not to men but to God, uttering mysteries. These are sacred realities hidden from natural understanding but made known by divine revelation. We have been brought into a family of mysteries.

We are carriers of mysteries, entrusted with the realities of Christ. 1 Corinthians 4:1–2 TPT. The Holy Spirit brings us into these realities as the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, giving us accurate knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:17–18; 1 Corinthians 2:9–10. Christ is the treasury of everything a believer could ever need, and as we fellowship with Him and search the Word, what was once mystery becomes revelation, and revelation becomes experience.
