Studying God’s nature and attributes is essential because our understanding of God shapes our identity, worldview, and daily lives. Knowing who God truly is helps us avoid misconceptions, anchor our faith in truth, and cultivate a deeper, more secure relationship with our Creator. Through this understanding, we learn to trust Him more fully and live in a way that reflects His character and purposes.

Stealing doesn't just reveal a worried heart, it also reveals a distrust in God as our provider. It says in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

GLC: In the previous session, we saw that God has revealed Himself through His Word. For this
reason we can know God, and understand what
He is like. However, God did not choose to
organize His revelation into a statement of faith a book of doctrines or an FAQ. So how can we be sure of the nature of God?
