The Youth have really enjoyed hanging out at over the summer holidays! 💪

Our Youth Worker, Sarita, ran multiple classes and the feedback from the young people has been really positive. It was so lovely to see them cheering each other on, encouraging one another and supporting each other through the challenge of trying CrossFit for the first time.

Sarita is keen to explore making exercise-based gatherings a more regular part of Youth, which we’re really excited about!

A huge thank you to for welcoming our Youth and giving them the opportunity to experience the fun, challenge and benefits of CrossFit! 🙌

Some of the Threshold Kids met yesterday morning for a Summer Jump Inc session! They had a great time jumping, navigating the ninja warrior area and scoring goals in the football section. The grown ups enjoyed a cuppa together and a good chat. A lovely hour all round!

What a brilliant time of family fellowship we had on Sunday morning! The children, youth and their families gathered together for a time of “Pancakes and Praise” 🥞🎶

We weighed, measured, mixed and flipped our pancake creations before enjoying them with all our favourite toppings. The morning was full of chats, games and plenty of fun, and we finished with a time of worship, dancing and singing together in the garden.

A truly lovely morning of food, fellowship and praise! 💛

Recently the Marthas gathered together for a time of quiet meditation and art. The theme for this gathering was 'Doors.' We hear that they had a peacful time listening, creating and consuming Coffee and Cake courtesy of Hannah at the Nook coffee shop. It looks like it was a truly peaceful and creative time together ✨

What a fantastic interactive morning we had yesterday as we gathered for our intergenerational service!

We split into small groups and prepared for a pilgrimage by packing and weighing our bags, before using a map to plan a route along St Cuthbert’s Way to Holy Island. We stopped to listen to the birdsong and read Psalm 96 together, then continued by following a trail of arrows to the playing fields.

Not knowing where the arrows would lead prompted us to think about what it feels like to journey without knowing the destination. We eventually found our way back to the village hall, where we read a Celtic prayer and then prayerfully walked along our “river”, leaving behind something we wanted to give to God.

We finished by gathering together to share what God had been speaking to us about and we heard a little about Nicky & Paul’s recent experience of walking St Cuthbert’s Way 🥾🌳
