This Sunday morning we'll be hearing from Lydia as she covers the mountaintop showdown from 1 Kings 18 with a talk entitled "Highs & Lows"

To set the scene, why don’t you read 1 Kings 18 ahead of time ?

We will also be blessed with worship from the Bardney Boys !!

As always we'll have Christian worship, fellowship, prayer and peace

Our morning of family fellowship was just wonderful today! The TKs, Youth and their families gathered together for a lovely brunch and to spend time discussing today’s Bible reading, Psalm 84.

We shared the most delicious spread of brunch items, while the children enjoyed games and play, and the adults had a chance to chat and catch up after a busy week for everyone. It was such a lovely, relaxed time spent together.

We then read Psalm 84 together and chatted about what it means. Verse 3 inspired our craft for the morning:
“Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young – a place near your altar.”

The children made their own little nests before using acrylic pens to paint wooden birds to go with them.

It was a lovely reminder that just as God cares for the birds and provides them with a place to call home, He cares for us too, providing for us and giving us a place where we are safe and loved 💛

We had the most beautiful Saturday morning today as a small group of mums came together for a book club-themed brunch, with a lovely mix of familiar faces and new connections around the table 📖🥐

We enjoyed delicious food, spiced apple tea, plenty of coffee and lots of lovely conversation about all things books. There were a few icebreaker games, our very own book-themed version of Pointless and plenty of laughter along the way!

We left with plenty of new book recommendations, a little Blind Date with a Book treat each, and the enjoyment of a lovely morning spent together 🍂☕️

Yesterday was such a special Sunday as we had the absolute joy of witnessing a much-loved member of our Threshold family get baptised!

We gathered together at Welton Village Hall to celebrate this special moment and share a truly beautiful morning together.

After the baptism, our TKs spent some time learning about Joshua 24:15: “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

They made their own little paper houses and filled them with drawings of their families. They also used playdough to create a member of their family and spent some time praying for them.

The adults were blessed with a wonderful preach and then we finished by gathering together to enjoy some very delicious cake! 🍰

It was such a lovely morning of celebrating, learning, creating and praying together ✨

What a fantastic time our TKs and families had on Sunday as we gathered in Nettleham to enjoy the Nettleham Scouts Scarecrow Trail! 🌾

We met at The Hub, where the grown-ups grabbed a much-needed cup of coffee, before we headed over to the Scout Hut to pick up our scarecrow trail maps.

Before setting off, we prayed together, asking that we would be able to bring God’s love and presence into Nettleham village as we walked the trail.

We spotted so many fantastic scarecrows along the way, with Spider-Man definitely being a favourite! We even bumped into a family from our Community Café partway around the trail, who joined us for some of the route, which was so lovely.

The children enjoyed a well-deserved pit stop at the park, and it was brilliant to see the older children helping the younger ones on the equipment.

Another fab morning together, enjoying our community, making memories and having plenty of fun along the way! ✨
