On Sunday, we spoke about the danger of becoming “political” in our faith.

Not political as in government, but political as in image control.

Saying the right things.
Doing the right things.
Looking the right way.
Trying to appear fine, even when we’re not.

But church was never meant to be a stage for perfect people.
It is a hospital for people who know they need Jesus.

If we are too afraid to admit we are struggling, we will never be honest enough to be healed.
If we keep pretending with God and with each other, we may look spiritual, but stay unchanged.

The goal is not to look right.
The goal is to get right with God.

Stop the politics.
Bring Him what is real.
Trust grace, not performance.

Real change begins when the politics end.

Maybe the question isn’t, “Why is God silent?”

Maybe the question is, “Is my life too loud?”

Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.”

Sometimes being still comes before knowing He is God.

Before the whisper, there was withdrawal.
Before the encounter, there was room.
Before God filled the space, someone had to make it.

Be still.
Remove the distractions.
Make room for Him.
