The Wesley Guild returns for its fourth year this Friday!

We're looking forward to welcoming our members and warmly encourage anyone who hasn’t joined us before to come along. We have an interesting programme of topics and informative speakers, meeting on Friday afternoons at 2.30pm.

Our opening speaker is Mr Jeremy Jacobson OBE, Chair of Kehillat Kernow, who will be speaking on:

“Celebrating Jewish festivals in worship and in the home, including the food prepared and eaten.”

These are the festivals we read about in Scripture—festivals that Jesus and his followers attended and celebrated.

We look forward to an interesting and thought-provoking afternoon, Friday at 2.30pm and everyone is very welcome to join us!

What a wonderful weekend we had bringing our celebrations marking our year celebrating 200 years of Methodism in Carnon Downs to a close. The variety of flower arrangements and community groups involved was fantastic, and we hope you'll agree that they all really did a great job! Followed by an entertaining concert from Truro Male Choir on Saturday evening. What a celebration!

Here's a selection of photos of some of the arrangements. Thank you to everyone who got involved.
