Today, our was taken from Revelation 21:1–4, which describes a vision of a new heaven and a new earth, where God dwells with humanity and all pain, suffering and death are no more.

This also coincides with today being Harvest Sunday. Our church family brought in donations for the local food bank to the glory of God. We were reminded to give thanks for all that we have, while keeping in our prayers the world’s poorest and most vulnerable.

Today, our was drawn from Psalm 122, where the psalmist said, “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’” It reminded us that God’s house is where our hearts are refreshed, our joy is renewed, and our faith is strengthened.

We were reminded of the importance of surrounding ourselves with people who help us grow spiritually. Walking with Jesus is essential, but walking with others who follow Him strengthens our faith and encourages us in hard seasons. The right spiritual community makes the journey of faith richer and more joyful.

Most importantly, we learnt about the joy that comes with christian fellowship and how sharing that joy with others is bringing about a bit of heaven to others. May we always be glad to go to the house of the Lord and find people who draw us closer to Jesus. 🙏🏽❤️
