It’s that time of year again when we could use a little help from our “angels in action”! 😇❤️

Shall we come together to bless the lives of young people across Cumbria in a different way? 🙌✨

We’ve got new days and new times! 🗓️

Please get in touch with your local NYC leader to find out if there are any opportunities to arrange lifts for you or other volunteers.

Your help can make a real difference!

— Throwback Thursday! 🎉

Let’s look back at Youth Lab and hear from our NYC leader, Edward Carthy, as we learn more about the Youth Lab project!

The Diocese of Carlisle’s Young Leader Labyrinth has launched its second year, with twice as many young people taking part!

The project supports young people aged 14–18 in exploring their leadership skills, character, and beliefs.

Our budding young leaders gathered for an Away Day last Saturday, filled with interactive workshops, group discussions, and lots of fun!

Regular sessions will now continue in local settings throughout the academic year.

Just a few moments from a very special Away Day! 💛

We’re beginning the second season of Youth Lab, a Network Youth Church project focused on equipping new leaders and discipleship.

It was a precious time of fellowship, learning and growth, strengthening our journey together and our sense of purpose.

This week, we’ll be sharing more photos and information about this exciting project, which is reaching communities across Cumbria! 🙌✨

Highlights from the Big One 2026. Who do you follow? Young people aged 11 to 17 from across Cumbria spent Saturday afternoon and evening at the Pencil Factory in Keswick for the Big One. There were bouncy castles and inflatables, games consoles, giant games, archery, a barbecue and a chocolate fountain.

Around the site, six blackboards were faith stations, where interns talked with young people about who is really worth following. Everyone was asked to think about following Jesus, who said “Come, follow me,” and there were three kinds of church to choose from: chilled, outdoor and creative. Then the silent disco.

Thank you to every volunteer, leader and church who made it happen. If you’re 11 to 17 and fancy the next one, ask your local Network Youth Church leader.
