A big thank you to all that have attended our events this year, both traders, volunteers and the community itself.
We are continuously looking to improve our events and 2026 is no exception, we now want to hear from YOU!
We want your views/thoughts & input, we love hearing the positive but also want to hear how we could improve! Could something be done better? Could we improve an event/activity? What do you enjoy the most/least? What do you want to see?
There was a lot of feedback last year, all feedback was taken on board, some things we were able to change, other things less so.
Several called for us to bring back some past events which we would absolutely love to do but sadly, with such a small committee we don’t feel that we would be able to deliver those events to the standard they need to be without more volunteers/committee members.
A major change this year was the Fete, following last years feedback we were approached by the Ship Inn with the kind offer of hosting the fete.
It wasn’t a decision we took lightly, but acknowledged that not only would it solve several problems for us, it would lower our costs, and would also tick off most of your feedback. I am heartened to say that we have already had some brilliant feedback which is lovely to hear!
Every piece of feedback, regardless of how small, matters and helps us shape our events, all feedback received will be shared with our committee and taken into consideration for 2027 and beyond!
