Cadeby Church is a collection point for donations for Hinckley Area Foodbank and Baby Basics UK and supports Hinckley Homeless Group. If you'd like to find out how these three good causes are helping people across the borough, we'll be receiving updates from each at our Annual District Church meeting, to be held in the church next Thursday, 7th May at 7pm. The meeting is open to all and is expected to last not much longer than half-an-hour.

Money raised at Cadeby Fete helps us to keep Cadeby Church cared for and open, for all. Thanks to proceeds from last year's fete and other kind donations, we have been able to employ David Sleight Conservation specialists in historic building repairs to carry out some work to the exterior of our beautiful Grade II* listed building. Using traditional stone masonry techniques (with just a bit of help from some 21st century tools back at the yard), David and his son Ben have replaced an eroded window mullion at the end of the south aisle, repointed masonry around the walls and repaired stonework on the porch, among other things. If you are making a visit, why not have a walk around the building to see for yourself their wonderful work.
