Tomorrow is the day 🎄✨

Come along for some Classic Christmas Carols, and see Bill and Ted discover the story of Christmas using their time travelling onion!

We’d love for you to join us with your parents from 4:30-5:30 on Saturday the 6th of December at Millisle Baptist Church, with a chance to catch up with all your CSSM friends afterwards over some festive treats and drinks while you wait for the Millisle Christmas tree lights switch on.

Please use alternative parking, as the Millisle Baptist car park will be used for the lights switch on. Disabled parking only will be available.

Christmas is just around the corner and the team here at Millisle CSSM headquarters have some exciting news to share – we’re having a Carol Service!

Come along for some Classic Christmas Carols, and see Bill and Ted discover the story of Christmas using their time travelling onion!

Keep an eye out for an exciting video coming out in the next few weeks which will tell you how you – yes you CSSM kids – can get involved on the night and perform for all your parents…

💙 A HUGE THANK YOU! 💙

We have had another amazing year at Millisle CSSM. The leadership team want to say a huge public thank you to our team for all of your hard work and dedication to serving God this week. You are all amazing! 🌟

Secondly, we want to thank Millisle Baptist Church, Millisle primary school , Millisle PresbyterianChurch & Carrowdore & Ballyfrenis Presbyterian Church for all of your support in letting us use your facilities, providing and organising our meals, delivering baked goods & most importantly praying for the work of CSSM in Carrowdore and Millisle. We could not run CSSM without all of the above mentioned so a massive THANK YOU 🤩

Lastly, we just want to thank all the lovely parents & guardians for sending your children and young people to CSSM. We had over 270 registered with 200 daily attendees and we hope that all enjoyed themselves. However, most importantly we hope all learnt about Gods armour, how He has equipped us to protect us for those who trust in Him. It is our prayer that the seeds of the Gospel of Christ was planted in each of your hearts & we are so pleased to hear of one person that we know of giving their life to Christ. We pray that each one of you come to know Jesus as your Lord and saviour.

👉CSSM DAY 5 RECAP👈

On day 5 we looked at the sword of the spirit.

The sword of the Spirit is the only offensive weapon in the armour, and it is explicitly identified as the Word of God. This refers to the Bible, which believers use to actively combat spiritual deception, refute lies, and proclaim God’s truth. It is a powerful and living instrument for both defense and offense in the spiritual realm.

What an amazing last day! P1-P3 & P4-P7 enjoyed their final morning of songs, memory verse, quiz & of course, we cannot forget bill & ted! In the evening, P4-P7 enjoyed large group games outside followed by a testimony from section leader Edward!

Teens enjoyed a very exciting morning on the beach doing games followed by a water fight 💦
In the evening, they enjoyed a bonfire at the beach with a few games, smores and a q&a session with the leaders. The teens asked some very important questions & we pray the gospel will prevail.

👉CSSM DAY 4 RECAP👈

On day 4 we looked at the shield of faith.
The shield of faith is essential for deflecting the spiritual attacks and temptations launched by the enemy. This faith is a deep trust and reliance on God’s promises and power, acting as a protective barrier against spiritual harm.

We had a fantastic day! P1-P3 & P4-P7 enjoyed another morning session filled with songs, memory verse, drama and they made their own shield!
Teens had a great time playing capture the flag 🚩.

We had a fantastic family and friends evening this evening at the Baptist church. Thank you to all that came along & got a glimpse of what your children and young people have been doing at cssm.
Special shout out to all sections for taking part! We learnt about the helmet of salvation & how it protects the mind, the center of thought and belief. It signifies the assurance of salvation in Christ.

We are now on our last day of CSSM 2025😭 but, it’s still not to late to join in the fun! See you very soon 🥳🥳

👉CSSM DAY 3 RECAP👈

On day 3 we looked at the shoes of the Gospel of Peace . These shoes represent the readiness and stability that come from understanding and sharing the Gospel (good news) of peace. Soldiers require a firm footing, us Christian’s also need the peace that Christ offers to stand firm against spiritual attacks and to be prepared to confidently spread the good news of the Gospel!

What another fun filled day. P1-P3 enjoyed another packed morning session and even made their own shoe laces! P4-P7 enjoyed another exciting morning including a quiz that got particularly messy!
Teens had a great time playing rounders on the green! Another year of hunt the leader was a great success! Big thanks to leaders Nigel & Lauren for sharing their testimony to P4-P7 & teens.

Thank you to all who attended our afternoon session in Carrowdore where we had a pea fair and heard from Caleb, alongside an interpretive drama 🎭

👉CSSM DAY 2 RECAP👈

On day 2 we looked at the breastplate of righteousness. We learnt that the breastplate protects our essential organs, and in the spiritual sense, the breastplate of righteousness protects the heart of a believer from the enemy the devil & sin. This righteousness is not human effort, but the righteousness fitted by Jesus through faith!

An exciting day was had by all. P1-P3 enjoyed drama, games & making their own breast plate! P4-P7 enjoyed similar in the morning & a pea fair in the evening!
Teens enjoyed ‘hunt or be hunted’ on the green in the morning followed by a photo challenge in the evening! Big thanks to leader Calvin all the way from Vienna for sharing his testimony with us.

We are now mid way through cssm 2025 & it’s not to late to come along! Day three let’s go!
