A busy weekend at Gilmorton church:
Saturday 5th September - 10:30am church cleaning and churchyard maintenance; 2:30pm visiting bellringers.
Sunday 6th September - 11:15am* morning service including baptism and communion; 3:30pm onwards Hymns and Pimm's (and nibbles, cakes, tea, coffee) - see "invitation".
* please note the slightly later than normal start - illness has led to a late change of visiting clergy.

Tea and cakes and Teddy Bears' picnic at Gilmorton Church on Sunday afternoon. Please bring your family and friends with you but don't forget your teddy! The weather forecast looks good ("sunny intervals"), so we hope to be outside church in the in the churchyard. Please bring a blanket to sit on. Games and activities plus best dressed teddy.

We also bake cake to take(away) so you can sample more later.
If you want nourishment of a different kind there'll be bread and wine during the communion service in the morning (11am start).
Also, if you have an hour to spare there's church cleaning from 10:30am on Saturday 4th July.

It's also Father's Day, so, if you can, bring your dad along for a free piece of cake.
By the way, we also do cake to takeaway so you can sample more later if you wish to!

Sunday 3rd May at 11am: Monthly service including communion. Regulars; not so regular attenders; and newcomers - everyone is welcome - young and not-so-young.
If you are around over the weekend but can't make the service you're still very welcome to visit church and churchyard - and take a look at the forget-me-nots.
