10 years of The Grove Community! 🎉💛

Our hearts are full after yesterday’s Praise Party! So much singing, dancing and joy, a room full of colour, and delicious pizza together after the service. What a way to celebrate!

We gathered to thank God for all he has done over these past ten years here in Gurnell Grove, and to look ahead with hope and excitement for what he will do next.

To everyone who has been part of this journey — our wonderful community, volunteers, team members, friends and everyone who has prayed, given and cheered us on — THANK YOU. We’re so grateful for the beautiful people who have made these ten years so special.

Ten years is a milestone, not a finish line. God isn’t finished yet! 🙌

We had an absolutely amazing time at our Volunteer Celebration, celebrating the incredible people who make everything we do possible! 🥰

A huge shoutout to every single volunteer who has supported us over the past year — from setting up chairs and cooking dinners to serving teas and coffees, and all the many, many things in between. Every little (and big!) thing you do makes such a difference, and we couldn’t do what we do without you. 💛

From all of us at The Grove, we want to say the BIGGEST THANK YOU! 🫶

The Grove Community is turning 10, and we’re celebrating in style! 🎂🎉 Join us next Sunday, 18th October, for a special 10-year celebration Praise Party!

Expect great music to bop along to 🎶, a look back at the story of The Grove over the last 10 years 🙌, and, of course, a pizza party to finish! 🍕✨

It’s going to be a brilliant time of celebrating all that God has done in our community, and EVERYONE IS WELCOME! 💛

We’ve loved doing our Summer Lite Church throughout August, but this Sunday… we’re back! 🎉

We’re going all out Grove with the return of the infamous:

🍽️ And, of course… a delicious dinner!

And this Sunday is extra special because we’re welcoming the Tates back after three months! 🥳

Finally! 🎉🥳😍

This week has been one of those moments that makes you pause and reflect on the journey.

After almost five years of dreaming, planning, fundraising, setbacks and an extraordinary amount of hard work from so many people, West Ealing Community Grocery is finally open.

Seeing the grocery filled with people over the last couple of days has been incredibly special. Around 80 local households signed up as members and completed their first shop. It was wonderful to see people enjoying the celebrations and, more importantly, beginning to make this place their own.

This has never just been about opening a grocery. It’s about creating a place where people can access affordable food with dignity, build friendships and find support right in the heart of the community.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers, partners, funders, , , local churches and everyone who has played a part in making this happen. We simply couldn’t have done it without you.

Buildings don’t change communities. People do. This grocery simply gives people a place to do that together. ❤️
