🧥 Pick a Coat This Winter! 🧥

No one should have to face the colder months without a warm coat.

As part of the Halton Winter Coat Project 2026, we're hosting a series of free Pick a Coat events across Halton, where local residents can choose a good-quality winter coat at no cost.

Whether you're looking for a coat for yourself or a family member, everyone is welcome.

📍 Events taking place in Runcorn and Widnes throughout October and November.

We're also still looking for donations of clean, good-quality winter coats and support from local volunteers, businesses and community groups.

There will be a pop up donation station at Widnes Market on 28th October 10am – 3pm

Find event dates, collection points and how you can help here: 👉 https://www.haltonsthelensvca.org.uk/updates/pick-coat-winter-free-community-events-across-halton

Please share to help us reach those who may benefit. ❤️

Are we one big happy church family, perfectly calm and smiling all the time?

Bless us. No. 😂 still praying for that one...

We picture the children sitting with the wisdom of Solomon. Some mornings, they’re more Samson bringing the house down. 🫣

There’s laughter, wriggling, noise and the occasional grown-up who’s also struggling to sit still.

And we love being together through it all. We’re a real church family, with real life happening probably a lot like yours. 💛

This Sunday is **Worship for Everyone** at Transform: children and adults, all in together spilling drinks and toilet breaks mid preach and thats the Millennial's!!

You don’t need a perfectly behaved family to belong here. We haven’t got one either. 😉

🧱 Kids Church are exploring the Wall of Jericho!

Join us at 9:30am or 11am. Come on your own, bring the family or invite a friend—you don’t need to have everything figured out.

Apparently there’s a Rugby World Cup on… 🏉
Some of us knew. Some of us have now had our Widnes credentials questioned. 😂

Thankfully, God loves Widnes even those who haven’t checked the fixtures. 💛

Come along to Transform tomorrow. We’ll be talking about God’s provision… and we can always squeeze in a prayer for England. Every little helps! 😉

📅 Sunday 18 October

🧱 Kids Church are tackling the Wall of Jericho. We hear their defence eventually crumbled… hopefully like Tonga today.

Come as you are. Rugby knowledge optional. Everyone welcome!
